"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Practice has been over for a while now. My thinking is if it was nothing, the team would be eager to make that announcement.
This is going a little deeper than "nothing" I am afraid. Hopefully he isn't looking at a Bitonio deal and done for the year.
That is why I don't like these practices. Pulling up changes the whole transfer of weight, putting great stress on the feet, ankles, knees, and hips.
Now we have a injured player who was basically playing touch football.
For what? A few press clipping on how great we look?

I tend to agree... Waiting for specifics but have a bad feeling... Of course maybe that's just because I'm a Cleveland fan and always expect the worst...

Browns DE Myles Garrett suffered a foot injury at minicamp. Garrett was limping on the sideline at the end of practice. Coach Hue Jackson said he doesn't think it's serious. Garrett battled an ankle injury his final year at Texas A&M. Source: Nate Ulrich on Twitter http://www.rotoworld.com/sports/nfl/football?r=1

Whats the difference between sitting on the field or sitting in the locker?
It's not like he had a compound fracture with a bone protruding the skin and needed immediate medical attention at a hospital with a orthopedic surgeon in charge.

Whats the difference between sitting on the field or sitting in the locker? I'd say there is a lot more room on the field than there inside a locker. Heck, could Massive Myles even fit inside a locker?

If he stayed on the sidelines and did not go to the locker room or hospital, then to me that is a good indication that it shouldn't be too serious.

Yeah I thought Vers handled it. If I had to respond to every outlandish post on this message board, it'd be a full-time time job.

Like Ballpeen, I just didn't feel the need to address the comment about C Brown.
C. Brown was nailed in the eye with a penalty flag right?...not the same thing at all.

It's not like he had a compound fracture with a bone protruding the skin and needed immediate medical attention at a hospital with a orthopedic surgeon in charge. if it were considered serious, they would have taken him off the field and to the back for more urgent testing. Thats the difference.

I thought it was odd he didn't call him Kam Wimbley when we drafted Myles. As far as the injury, I'm sure it's just a broken toenail. Hue runs a cupcake camp. I wouldn't be surprised to see Corey and Myles talking about the Cavs game on the stationary bikes tomorrow.

Well...........there was a recent post where he wished for horrible things to happen in my life, if that tells you anything. Two days later......well, not quite ready to share, but I really don't get the mindset of of wishing ill will on another poster because you disagree about a sport's take.

Of course, he did. This team just can NOT catch a break. If something bad can happen it does here in Browns Town.

Yes, there is overwhelming evidence to support that claim. Some people just naturally gravitate toward gloom and doom...same ol'browns. It is what people do. I never get it. You can't really argue against it. To some, it makes them feel better. I never got that either. All I can do is wish they are wrong!

Myles Garrett - DL - Browns
The Associated Press' Tom Withers reports No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett will undergo "numerous tests" after re-injuring his left foot/ankle at Wednesday's minicamp practice. It's the same ankle/foot that slowed Garrett as a college junior. The injury limited him at OTAs and was aggravated on Wednesday. "His reaction made me think it could be significant," Withers said of Garrett's injury. The aggravation occurred on a non-contact play, forcing Garrett to limp off the field.

How many "non serious" foot injuries are there, that would ilicit the response. Hurt left lower body injury, limped on the sidelines.
Well, there are various common injuries, and they have prescribed time frames to return to action.
Best case scenario, it's a shorter time frame injury. My speculative brain guesses it's worse than Hue would say and. ..

non-contact injury of a previous injury is not good

jc...DURABILITY...some have it, some don't.
Injuries are part of the game...
If Garrett re-injured himself in a non-contact drill during practice, it's likely that the suspect area (foot, ankle} was going to become an issue at some point, regardless of the type of activity.
Hopefully this is nothing serious and Garrett will return to the field asap.
...until then, next man up!

Source: Tom Withers on Twitter Jun 14 - 10:26 PM and people can't understand my Courtney Brown 2.0 reference..lol, I wanted Garrett in the draft and I think he has a ton of talent..just like Brown did, but could never stay on the field because of injuries...so far that seems to be the case..he's practiced what like 3 days without being injured in shorts and no contact?

At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.
