If the letter was meant as satire....it should have been made more outlandish... In written satire, the more outlandish the claim, the more evident the satire is. A good satire piece should contain humor, also to make the satire and sarcasm more evident. I know...the writer could claim that Marriucci for coach was an attempt at humor, but the attempt didn't go far enough to make the satire evident... <img src="/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

If I were grading the piece, for a college level creative writing class (Once upon a time, I was a Teaching Assistant in just such a class), the writer would not enjoy his final grade... Proper punctuation, spelling and grammar notwithstanding.... The writer did not achieve the stated aim of making satire evident in the piece.

I respectfully disagree,...I was bawling out loud laughing after just the first paragraph,....I'll digress and offer that maybe I'm no college professor and am therefore unqualified to grade a satire, but this thing was a complete comedy for me after the first sentence.

It continued to completely describe exactly some of the things that get said on this board, and that made it even funnier. I'm telling you I was howling,...

So it ain't college level satire for all you Cleveland Brown mensas out there. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I mean your a knucklehead if would post something like this and not preface that it was being used for your college lit class....On top of that...your an even bigger knucklehead if you were in fact turning this pathetic p.o.s. into an actual college. I mean it took you a month to come up with words like "cuz" ?? I mean this is the end of the semester or trimester at most colleges....The Professor would be ABSOLUTELY embarassed that one of his or her students writes worse than a first grader after a full term of sitting through their class.

As for his transfer skills....has he ever heard of copy and paste?? That is one of the necessary skills one would usually attain who has a computer...and is in college for that matter.

People post stuff like this all the time and they are serious about it. So how should anyone know this was a joke when it is written like all the others? for everyone on here who questions my "Grammatical structure" i "COPIED IT" not as in cut in paste, but actually typed it. If it wasn't for spell check, i would have boo-koo errors on my final assignment. As on do on this board often due to no spell check

im not perfect, English isn't exactly my "strong suit" in life. The final paper i turned in is "much, much, much" better in that regard then this that i typed in a hurry before i had to go to work.

to pick on some errors that were obviously my fault due to a lack of an hour to actually sit here and make sure i made no errors is just simply foolish

when i get my grades back sometime this week, i will scan my grade sheet and post the darn thing as soon as i get it.
