GOP won the GA-6 district by over 23% in Nov 2016 election.

GOP won GA-6 district by 3.8% last night.

A GOP loss of 19.4% in just 8 months in a heavily GOP district in a southern state.

Trend / time = ??

That district went Trump 48%, Clinton 47%. The runoff election was by no means a lock.

To add: Tom Price did win the district bigly back in November. From what I can gather, he was a very popular Congressman... maybe Eve can confirm or deny this-- I can't say that I follow Georgia state politics very closely.

With two different candidates in the runoff compared to the 2016 election, I'm not sure how much you can compare the relative differences in the results. This is especially true when you have some out-of-town hotshot with an enormous advertising budget who tells the people what they want to hear.

Luckily, sanity prevailed and the right person won. Congrats to Karen Handel

I thought that you had to be a resident in the congressional district that you are running in but he couldn't vote for himself.... watta friggen joke you guys on the left are.
