today we went to our wonderful daughtr-in-law Cali's birthday party. Had a good time even though i felt better outside than in. I was not having a good day.

Now once i got home as we had 2 grandkids here working on the pool... Holy hell our one grandson decided to go mud bogging with my riding mower. Now i have about an acre of land and now a good part of a 1/8 acre is trashed.
Now he's going to have to fix this my mower is covered in mud and i have rut's in my backyard, but when i look at my mower i can only say damn why didn't i do that. Tricia you have hard times ahead. Good thing i think i have grass seed here. Oh by the way Mason is grounded from my mower till 2050

this is my grandad kids all 11 of them well 13 if you count the other 2 that call me grandpa

Kids, whaddya gonna do? We have this exercise gadget with the hand grips that look like a sling shot with the bars that connect to the rest of the machine.

Well, my older son, who's autistic (both my boys are), doesn't think of what might happen, he just does things, he took an exercise band (pretty much an oversized rubber band) stretches it between the two grips somehow or other, let's loose and smashes a window in one of the sliding doors going out to the deck.

Fortunately it's a double pained window, so it still functions as a door, and in the years since he's taken interest in other things than stuff like that!

Ted our youngest [ damn he's going to be 27 in Aug. has autism.] so i can relate to that. Mason the mud bogging grandson hasn't been tested yet but my wife said he should on the spectrum somewhere.

And then he ask me grandpa when are you taking me out shooting. Really Mason you just mud bogged my yard and you want me to put a gun in your hand.

What? Isn't running a tractor thru the mud bogs while shooting guns still part of the gun handling tests? No?

Well it should be! You never know when someone may try to break into your home while you're mowing your lawn!

Pitt i know it was alittle bit funny after the fact, but after his mom and dad came over today they didn't think so.

Today as 2 other grandkids were working on the pool i pulled my mower out and said wash it. Mower deck tires everything. And Mason also the trailor wash it.

Then i asked why the hell would you do this with the trailor on the back. He said well i had to give rides.

Pitt i always told my wife if someone is in the house DON'T grab a pistol grab a shotgun. she asked why i told her you will be very nervous and you cover more area with the shotgun.

anyways about a month and a half ago my wife left for work. i listened for the garage door to close and then back to sleep for 2 hrs before James had to get up. 10 minutes after my wife left the house alarm went off.

I was pissed as i thought James had left Koda out and he set off the alarm, so i slowly opened the door so i could caught James in the act. now James leaves his door part way open. i seen Koda on the bed and James sleeping.

i backed around the corner of our bedroom grabbed one of my shotguns loaded 2 in the slide and 1 in the chamber. i didn't chamber the last 1 till i came out of my bedroom. There's just something about chambering a shell on a pump shotgun that is revaling. Anyways checked the whole house did notice the front door was open.

i know what i told my wife but damn if this ever happens again i'm grabbing 2 pistols. i want to caught the guy in the house

My oldest boy is 18, he also has psychotic disorder, so I've got quite the collection of drywall repair to do at the moment, and he still has the audacity to ask for an Xbox One. Lucky for him, he just started collecting SSI so, while he doesn't understand money, it's coming out of his pocket to pay for the thing, I just hope he doesn't go ape over the next Xbox that comes out this Christmas.

If somebody breaks into my house they won't be lucky enough to get a pistol, or a shotgun. I want to question them.

WHACK with my club, what WHACK are WHACK you WHACK doing WHACK in WHACK my WHACK house WHACK. It confines the blood to a smaller area instead of splattering it all over the walls and ceiling, plus it's much more therapeutic naughtydevil

I recommend the Winchester Defender as a shotgun great for home protection.

Pitt i will use my savage 67 in a 16 ga. serial # in the 500's it is damn accurect. The only problem is i pulge all my shotguns so they only hold 3 shells, but i cup two shell in my left hand.

i took my one son duck hunting a few years ago i said heads or tails on first ones coming in, well i won.i had a flock of 5 come in. i let the first to set then i got 2 and then 2 more trying too get out of there. 15 minutes after opening i was limited out.

well this wasn't my sons 1st time duck hunting but he was having a bad day. i had a hen mallard land in our decoys. i said do youthink you can hit it? he said ya. i said youare not shooting through 500 dollars worth of decoys.

i said get ready.when i stand up when that duck clears the decoys shoot. he could have waited a split second longer but at least he did'nt hit a decoy. oh ya and he finally got a duck.

my wife loves a duck meal, but she knows my passion is calling and no longer shooting, but there are those days my wife will say get me a duck. i would say really that/s not gaurateed.

anyways done with my post

My grandpa had a Browning Sweet 16 shotgun. What a great gun!
