Jesus spent way more of his time admonishing those who admonished sinners than admonishing sinners himself.

That he did... he also said, go into the world and make believers of all men... and... the only way to Heaven was through Him...

and most of his admonishing of those admonishing sinners had to do with their methods, not their intent... Jesus was all for the intent of getting somebody to stop sinning, he was sort of against stoning them to death to make your point...

"Jesus was never harsh with sinners, as we know. He was harsh with moralists and hypocrites, with those who observed the letter of the law rather than the spirit of the law. Jesus had no social status whatsoever; he was fluid and flexible, until he had to deal with those who were intolerant." -Henry Miller

Henry Miller makes a lot of sense.

You would have to define "harsh"... He tossed some tables when folks were running their businesses out of the church.. He told one very wealthy man who asked him how he could recieve God to give away every one of his worldly possessions... some of that could be viewed as pretty harsh.. He didn't stone people to death, He didn't mock or ridicule.. so in the grand scheme of things, He was much better than us.. but then He's Jesus, so I guess that's to be expected...

He had no social status, he did have quite a following later on though...

This I disagree with.. Jesus was NOT fluid and flexible when it came to sin or obeying God... He often appeared evavise because people were always trying to trap Him with questions which appeared to have no right answer and he refused to answer with a simple yes or no... but to imply that He was fluid and flexible with sinners is just wrong IMO... He was perfect in His ability to love the sinner and hate the sin, which is something pretty much all Christians still struggle with.. that is where the big disparity lies..
