True....But as Diam has said.....in a contract year That's weird, because he didn't get a long term contract. He is on another one year deal. Also, if he played as well as he did on a crap team, like we had last year, imagine what he can do while only giving average effort with an improved team. What a horrible argument.

Why use facts when slander works better?
Come on, man. Coaches and front offices always give undrafted free agents way more leeway than expensive free agents and guys who are picked high in the draft. They don't even care if they are lazy, underachieving bums. They just keep undrafted free agents on the team no matter what.

If I remember correctly, Crowell was on the chopping block his rookie season. He then blew up in the fourth preseason game and made the team. Edit: He had 13 carries for 102 yards in that fourth preseason game. http://www.nfl.com/player/isaiahcrowell/2550189/gamelogs?season=2014I'm surprised a quitter like Crowell would even want to play in that game.

I was thinking KR and PR. But no doubt having stud gunners is important too.

I would have no problems if they use Peppers on offense occasionally. A handful of plays during the year. Heck, he's probably better on O than he is at covering. Lol.

RE: Devalve
He made a play in the Chargers game? Ran a seam-post with the Safety bearing down on him and went up to make a catch on an high pass, got rocked but made the catch.
I know it's only 1 play, but that play really showed me something. The TE spot is gonna be interesting between David and Seth.

Thats what's called doing enough to make the Team. Look, everybody knows he had to bust his chops to make the Team, but he also gets lazy (thats what Diam is referring to), has been his whole career (again what Diam is referring to) Man you guys, as they say, even a blind man.....

1 yard and a cloud of dust.....0 yards and a cloud of dust. Running into the backs of his O-Line and falling over. Running backwards for a pass and then running out of bounds for a 4-5 yard loss. Running to the line and diving forward for a yard gain with out being touched...Need more?

Hey remember that time Peyton Manning threw an interception?
He's so lazy.

How pathetic is your life that you are that obsessed w/another poster's sig?

While players have come and gone, they all decided to keep Crow.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Hopefully he keeps his head on tho..

He looked "lazy" in that clip. Seriously though.........the guy really hits the hole quick. He's a classic one-cut runner and he's faster than he most people realize. I would like to see him develop more leg strength and break some of those tackles in the open field.

He's on what, his third coaching staff and FO now?
I guess none of them knew lazy when they saw it.

I'm no running back guru, but in those clips he just seems to 'explode' in whatever direction he chooses to go.

I'm on the same page as Vers. I think Crow is poised for a big year. Revamped offensive line. Second year in the offense. Hopefully improved quarterbacking. I don't think its crazy to think Crow could be a top 10 runner this year.
The other shining star I think could be the O-Line. They'll make everyone look better. So long as Cam Erving is nowhere to be freaking found, I think we're poised to succeed.

I think early on he had a problem with leaning forward while he was running. Causing him to lose balance a lot. But he seems to have fixed that.
The "problem" I think we have is that he gets better the more touches he gets.
And when you have two backs with talent. You want them both involved. Which hurts both of them a bit.

#BringBackTheTFormation It didn't hurt Mack and Byner. I know the game is different, but there should be lot's of touches for each guy, though Duke might see more of them in the form of a pass.

We disagree. I want to see him on offense. You don't. I won't mind if he plays some O. I would think most of it would be in the Wildcat. Just take the snap and run left or run right. If the guy gets any kind of crease, he can go a long way.

been reading for weeks but didn't wish to get into Dead Zone discussions that weren't about football. My 2 Cents:
Crowell...not lazy, not selfish where he turned it on in contract season.
What I saw was a kid whose vision got better and better. Its hard for these guys coming in as they are looking for that gaping hole. NFL is all about slivers of day light and his vision got better with each season. Love his burst and he can catch too.
Devalve: Man the kid is serious. Gained 20+ pounds over the off season is dedicated to be able to block and his hands are excellent. From what I heard his speed is actually up from last year too. There is a reason why we let Barnidge go. I expect good things from Devalve and I can't wait to see the rookie in some Double TE looks. jmho later guys.
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

I would like to see him develop more leg strength and break some of those tackles in the open field. If he can just do what he was doing through the first five games of last season on a consistent basis, I don't need him to improve a thing. He was a legitimate BEAST. If the team had anything else going for it, at all, it could have been spectacular.
Browns is the Browns

General reply regarding the Cro (and our running game in general)...
I don't see any reason why we wouldn't get both our backs a whole bunch of touches each. Until we develop a competent throwing aspect to our offense, we're going to have to try to run it a ton.
