“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
do i need to post the definition of racism, again?
cause you clearly aren't using the term correctly. not even close.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
I was actually referring to the people who came into this land we now call ours and stole it from the Native Americans.
But, you completely ignored the part about how many laws are broken every single day of the year by a high percentage of our citizens w/out blinking an eye.
Hypocritical.
And I will say it again.........the kids I have taught who were illegals were some of the most polite, well-behaved, humble, and respectful students I have ever taught.
And furthermore............I have a bit of a problem w/governments [especially one who stole their "own" land by wicked and cruel measures] imposing laws as to who can live in certain areas.
I'm going to be very blunt. I think the people who complain about this issue have a deep-rooted bias that is based in bigotry.
And, I am not a fan of bigots! I'd welcome many of the illegals at my dinner table than the likes of the bigots who constantly act like this is such a huge issue.

No I'm not. They pay the price of their crime if and when they get caught, right?

I can agree with the stealing land part. I've always asked the question 'how can you discover something that is already inhabited?' What we have now is a civilization with laws, deal with it.
I'm not a bigot. If I break a law, I pay the price. It's that simple. I need a passport when I leave this country and need to show it when I return. Get your damn papers and everything will be fine!
A lot of people in the neighborhoods that I live in [upscale] do not want to do their own work,
A fact I rely on to make my living.

Highlighted in red is how I feed my family. I was born here, served my country and put in a hell of a lot of time trying to build a reliably steady business at a certain level of in come in order to keep my family in a safe neighborhood and a good school district.
But sure, painting in an upscale neighborhood is a job Americans don't want to do now.

No it's not, you can feel that way all you want, doesn't mean that's why we feel the way we do about it.
WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM my two cents...
We all have different perspectives. I'll leave it at that, unless of course, people of your persuasion want to further the discussion w/your usual BS.
My persuasion? Just exactly what is my persuasion? Racist white guy or BLUE COLLAR SKILLED BUSINESS MAN THAT DOESN'T WANT TO SEE HIS INDUSTRY SO DILUTED WITH PEOPLE THAT DRIVE HIS WAGES INTO THE DIRT?
Keep your rich white guilt to yourself. I work my ass off 10-12 hours a day so I don't see the need to just allow my lifestyle to go to hell just so you can feel warm and fuzzy about the situation.

Who's persuasion? Is ted white, black, french/german/lichtenstenian?
Is he a retired teacher, living off the income of his hispanic wife? (the wife that only comes to the discussion when the husband wants everyone to know how open he is).
Well Ted, I would hire a Mexican before I would ever hire your bigoted ass.
I think you are bigoted. See how easy it is to toss around slurs?
He's not bigoted, but he does live in that liberal bubble that makes him completely out of touch with anything other than what he sets his heart on.
Has to be the alcohol, after Trump won, he was posting some pretty wise stuff about why he won instead of Hillary, and now here he is conducting himself in the very manner that he theorized cost Hillary the election.

It's too late in the night for everybody to be this salty.

Did I ever tell you guys about Brian? I think so, but I bet most forgot about him and others missed the post. So, here it is again:
Brian came to my math class several years ago and could not speak one word of English. I was flabbergasted when he was assigned to my class w/out any assistance. No interpreter. No aide. No devices.
Nothing!
I felt so inept trying to teach him while he was part of a group of 28 students. I kept pleading for help to our administration. I said I wasn't trained to deal w/non English speaking students. I said I thought I was failing Brian. I was told that I was a superior teacher and what does it matter anyways?
Well, I got my own children involved and my son hooked Brian and I up w/a two devices and a translator. A couple of good citizens who had kids in the same class agreed to pay for all of it.
It was still tough because you can't possibly translate every word. Mostly Brian just sat there while we did our stuff.
However, I always noticed a sparkle in his eye and a look of intelligence. He would never say a single word, which I later learned was out of embarrassment.
One day, prior to testing, I put an impossibly long equation the smart board and asked the kids to work in groups to try to figure out the equation. I wasn't really interested in the answer, because on State tests, you can receive partial credit just for logical thinking.
Well, all of these kids were struggling and out of the blue, Brian raises his hand for the first time all year and says "18." Which, of course, was the correct answer.
I went nuts. It was his first words in English. And he had the right answer. I was incredulous. I was so thrilled. I had felt I was failing him all year and it was distressing, but dawg man, the kid learned.
The coolest part was that every single person in that room, students and myself got to our feet and gave Brian a standing ovation. Brian stayed seated, but the look in his eyes.......priceless!
Fast forward to the start of the next school year. We were holding open house and I was talking to new students and their parents when all of a sudden, Brian and his family showed up [he had a younger sibling at our school and that is why they were there even though Brian had moved to high school.]
A young lady approached me and said there is someone I might want to see. I was kinda busy and distracted and didn't see right away...........but, then I heard "Hey Mr T..." The English was good but not perfect. I turned and it was Brian. He had been painfully short the year before but had sprouted up and more importantly, he was beaming.
What a beautiful smile. What a beautiful human being!
He thanked me over and over again for what I did for him. I could hardly speak because I was overcome w/emotion and I always thought I had failed him because I could not speak Spanish.
His parents were there and were typical of the "illegals" I had met over the years. Gracious and kind. They praised me w/broken English for all I had done for Brian. How I had touched his heart and mind and how I had inspired him. LOL.........what a joke. I did almost nothing for the kid other than to give him a chance and believe in him.
I wanna repeat that line for some people:
Give him a chance and believe in him!

Swish...............it's why I taught. He was such a great kid. Smart as heck. I could always tell by his eyes. It was so frustrating that he couldn't speak the language, but his eyes........Man, they were filled w/intelligence.
And when he came back .............dawg, that was special.
Sucks though cause the only thing some posters are thinking is that Brian should've been deported for not speaking English.

Yeah, you guys are so good at divining the intentions of everyone you've ever come in contact with...
It's a skill set, for sure.

I'm also highly pissed that Diam has once again used some misleading title to make another bigoted thread.
Like seriously dude what's your beef with vanilla ice?

He's competing with milli vanilli for worse con job in music.
The argument was raging around the same time MC Hammer borrowed the tune from Super Freak for Can't Touch This, but MC was all to happy to acknowledge the James influence.
This is a vague memory, but the guys who ended up in the Mili Vinili videos were saying something about how their producers (who actually sang the songs) made them do the lip syncing thing because only a producer could break a record contract.
