Since the Free Agency thread is locked, I figured we'd start a thread to keep track of who gets cut and who's available ... even Sashi said today we're going to be constantly looking

Marcus Smith for Philly was released today. Former 1st Round pick.

Chris Barker waived with injury designation

The Cleveland Browns have signed OL Kitt O’Brien. To make room on the roster, the team waived OL Chris Barker with an injury designation.

O’Brien is 6-5, 325 pounds and officially in his first NFL season out of Ball State. Originally signed by Indianapolis as an undrafted free agent in 2015, O’Brien has spent time on the Colts’ practice squad the past two seasons. He also spent two seasons (2013-14) playing for the Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League. O’Brien is a native of Denver, Colo.

Barker was claimed via waivers from New England on May 19. He sustained an Achilles injury during yesterday’s practice.

He didn't even last long enough to be called camp fodder.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

keep in mind, we waived him for reasons of injury.. In the end, I don't know this is a big deal at all.

On release of OL Jeremy Zuttah, Kyle Shanahan said it was a difficult decision but Daniel Kilgore has established himself at center.

Jeremy Zuttah cut by 49ers five months after trade

By Kevin Patra
Around the NFL writer
Published: Aug. 9, 2017 at 03:19 p.m. Updated: Aug. 9, 2017 at 04:01 p.m.
In March, the San Francisco 49ers traded for offensive lineman Jeremy Zuttah. He lasted less than five months with the team.

On Wednesday, the Niners cut Zuttah, the team announced. The team signed linebacker Sean Porter in a corresponding move.

"That was a tough decision," coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters Wednesday. "He's done a lot of good things in this league. We wanted to give him chance to go somewhere else."

The 49ers swapped sixth-round picks with the Baltimore Ravens for the rights to the 31-year-old center, moving down 12 spots for the five-month tryout. Zuttah had been working with the second- and third-team groups in training camp.

With the Ravens losing center John Urschel to retirement, it's conceivable Zuttah could return to the team with which he started 16 games and earned a Pro Bowl bid in 2016 -- if Ozzie Newsome can do some salary-cap maneuvering.

Niners incumbent Daniel Kilgore owns more athleticism for Kyle Shanahan's zone blocking scheme and sits atop the depth chart. Tim Barnes is an option as a backup.

Because Browns fans overrate their players. We have had such a depleted roster in terms of talent, even putrid looks good to us.

After watching last nights pre season game I would be looking at 2 positions for players from other teams.

Middle Linebacker and Wide Receiver.

I suspect will pass Carder as the starter at MLB.

LOL Sad but true, but I doubt we're the only teams fans that do that ....

But you know Pit, those days may just be over with some of the new blood that's trickling in... Garrett, Peppers, Kizer, Tretter.. Guess we'll see...

If I'm overrating Browns players then you are overestimating the rest of the league. Seattle and New England are putrid. Pasztor would be starter quality for that team. He constantly beats out the Alvin Bailey's and whichever injured NE linemen, we sign every year in the offseason.

It's fine to over Rate players as long as they can produce and perform on a high level

Wait, if they do that, wouldn't it be rather silly to call them over rated? LOL

pls educate me about Seattle and NE's line. I know NE's line has finally turned a corner, but their one step from going back to where they were. Seattle's line is putrid. Pazstor has shown he's good enough to be at least a second teamer/utility lineman in the NFL.

The Bears claimed Aguayo.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Aguayo turn it around now that the pressure of being a second round pick is off.

Falcons signing veteran OL Austin Pasztor

Charean Williams

The Falcons are signing veteran offensive lineman Austin Pasztor to a one-year deal, according to a tweet from Pasztor’s agent, Sunny Shah.

Pasztor, 26, started 43 games and played in 15 others the past five seasons for Jacksonville and Cleveland. He started 16 games last season for the Browns, playing both right tackle and right guard.

The Falcons are looking for a swing tackle behind starters Jake Matthews and Ryan Schraeder, and they also have an ongoing right guard competition between Ben Garland and Wes Schweitzer.

Pasztor’s experience playing both tackle and guard could make him a valuable backup for the Falcons. In his NFL career, he has started at both guard positions and at right tackle.

I think it is very, very odd that we didn't resign him. We too - as were the Falcons - are looking for a swing T and our choices appear to be Erving & Johnson. I'd take Pasztor over either of those guys all day long.

I said long ago that there must be something with him that turned Hue off or that he simply isn't the kind of T Hue wants - as if Erving is?
