Nixon = A crime was committed and a scandal then broke out.
Trump = A scandal broke out trying to find a crime.
That is not the American way. That is the Liberal media way!!! To me that comparison is totally erroneous and ill founded. Go compare the difference in the news coverage of WWII - or the coverage of the Cuban Missile crisis or another significant event from the late 60' - 70's era .... then go look at the coverage of something like Desert Storm or the Iraq war. Instant media is here today that was not around during the Nixon scandal. Social media didn't exist - The President didn't have twitter to fan the flames! There wasn't 24 hour news cycle and as many different news outlets all competing for a scoop. Sure - it's a catchy little line. But the reality if Nixon had done now what he did then ... it'd be the same scandal as today with Trump.
