What are you looking for?

We get a glimpse into real football tonight with the Orange and Brown scrimmage.

We'll get to see the current (penciled in) starting line-ups.

We'll get to see 2nd year players and some of the rookies on the hoof.

I want to see the athleticism shine. We have had the slowest teams in football since butch Davis left to be honest. I believe this may be the most athletic team we have fielded since 2002 and Iwant to see it.

Kizer freak athlete arm deep ball polish reminds me of a young carson palmer, I want to see if his feet has caught up to where his upperbody was at. when he has consistent feet he will have consistent throws.

I am excited to see the RBs Crow, Dayes and Duke behind this big monster OL. I am excited to see all the addiitons on defense.

Mostly I am just excited to see 2016 in the rearview mirror lol

I'm not so sure we'll see anything worth taking note of other than some basic schemes. Since the #1 defense will be playing against the #2 offense and the #1 offense will be playing against the #2 defense.

It's actually looking to me like both the #1 defense and the #1 offense are being set up to succeed and look good.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Is this also a scrimmage for us? Are we all going to overreact to every play the way we do in the Gameday thread? You know, just for practice.

I'll probably be calling for Hue's job after the first hour.

Count. On. It

1) Running Game.

2) Swarming Defense.

3) Some type of QB play.

4) Damn few drops.

Honestly, just want to see football.

There is is not much really to form an opinion. Have to read or listen to what others say.

That holds true until the first regular season game.

Pre-season games are for the coaches to decide the depth chart and who makes the roster.

As a fan what are you looking at? Even game three which is supposed to be the real tune up game hard to really make any judgement.

The coaches see daily what they need to see. The games give them more info to help make decisions.

Fun to follow. Football fore-play.

September 10, at one o'clock is when it gets real.

Until then I will read what everyone is drooling about.

Peppers with the 1st team...

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Sashi Brown being interviewed.....sounds like they are relying on Desmond Bryant this season. Honestly, I'm surprised he was that committal.

Did they announce the 1st team already?

I know he's on the "Brown" team but didn't see them announce 1st team/2nd team yet.

If I understand it correctly, 1st team is primarily in brown, everyone else in white.

QBs

Kessler, Kizer in Brown

Osweiler, Hogan in white.

Right. I saw that he's on the "Brown" team but that still doesn't mean he's with the 1st unit.

He could be, but I didn't see it and i thought the other poster was saying it was posted or something.

The Brown team DBs are:
DB Briean Boddy-Calhoun

DB Jamar Taylor

DB Jabrill Peppers

DB Joe Haden

DB Ibraheim Campbell

DB Derrick Kindred

DB Jason McCourty

And if the reports from camp are accurate (and they might not be) Peppers wasn't with the starting unit. They said it was Kindred and Pryor but that already looks incorrect because Pryor is on the "White" team.

Yeah, Peppers was in brown.

Both units punt. Crowell gets plugged twice.

I watched about five minutes of the "pre-game" and they said that Pryor is behind the other safeties mentally.

I wish they would widen the view. It's too tight on the ball and you can't see what's going on away from the ball.

It's not exactly NFL Films. There is probably some intern on the roof filming with his iPhone.

after the interception...

Peppers and Kindred 1st team S right now

Alexander in for an INJURED Kirksey (WTF? what happened to Kirko?)
Schobert at MIKE
Collins at SAM

Alexander tackle near (R) sideline

Peppers (not Kindred, Zagura missed the call) flying across the screen to make a tackle on McGee? on the toss

Agreed you can't see the defensive nor offensive formations.....but maybe that's on purpose...you know how secretive NFL coaches get......or maybe its just poor planning for the camera work?

either way the camera angles aren't good

And then he throws it 15 yards out of the back of the endzone. . .

Trying to draw any conclusions from this crappy feed is probably not a good idea.

Kessler's arm still looks weak when he tries to push it

I don't have a bad feed, it's just that that camera angle is too close. But still, even after that overthrow, he still looks better. Kessler got "sacked" a few times. Kizer was only in one series.

Halftime.

I've been impressed so far. By the 2nd team O, and the 2nd team D.

As for the zoom.....perhaps so other teams can't see the line up, the blocking, the d set, etc?
