On July 12, 2016 he publicly apologized

On July 19, 2016 he met with Dallas police and attended the funeral of one of their fallen officers

And on October 5, 2016, he donated a game check to the Dallas Fallen Police Officer Foundation

He has done enough to earn my forgiveness. We all make mistakes. It takes a grown up to recognize, apologize, and make amends. He has done that.

Nice post.

I was shocked, angry, and disgusted when Crow posted that pic. But the guy has done all the right things since he made that mistake. I've forgiven him.

Of course, it means way more that many police officers, such as yourself, have forgiven him.

Crow doesn't just have to prove that he can put up good numbers this year to get paid.. so what if he stays healthy and has 260 carries, 4.8 per, which is what, 1200 yards, and 10 TDs... that should get you into the top 4.. but what if Duke and Dayes have similar stats just with fewer carries? Will the organization view Crow as the reason or will they view the OL as the reason and assume they can just plug in the next guy who is cheaper?

It really doesn't matter when we're a billion under the cap.

Every NFL contract can easily be reduced from 4 years to 1-3 years. Re-sign our good players, and worry about if you have to cut them for better players when better players arrive.

Remember how Schwartz was going to be easy to replace. We're still trying to do so.

I don't believe you were here when that situation went down. Many posters said that replacing Schwartz would be no big deal.

I understand that players get replaced by younger players, but not top flight players, when there are only questions behind them. I think that Crowell is a top flight RB, and that he was criminally underused last year. I believe that he's going to have a great season this year, and will deserve a contract, especially on a team that doesn't need to create holes.

Coleman will be fine at RT. He may be even better than Schwartz. Mitchell wasnt the stud early on but capable and Coleman will be that from day 1.

As for Crow. Show me you are worth the investment. the Browns will make him a wealthy man if he shows them he is the man. If not we will draft a replacement with one of those 5 picks in the first 2 rounds.

Duke to the Slot, Dayes takes that 3rd down role. Crow will be fresh and have a chance to pound it especially if you put the rook in at QB.

I was one of the first Schwartz pimps and believed he was a solid top 6 or 7 right tackle but Coleman reminds me of Ryan Tucker. He is big powerful and gets to the 2nd level as easily as Mitch. He has the potential to be better than Schwartz. Also he has Zeitler next to him. Mith and Ryan always seemed to have bums lined up next to them.

I loved when we drafted Joe Thomas.

It moved Shaffer over to RT and Tucker into RG.

Because on one side you had clean shaven and "finesse" Joe and and Eric Steinbach.

And then on the right side you had Bushy Bearded Ryan and "Dont meet him in a back alley" Kevin.

Those "Starting O Line" graphics always made me lol.

You are making a lot of bizarre statements.

You say that Crow needs to prove it even though he already has and then add that Coleman is going to be better than Schwartz even though he hasn't done a damn thing yet. saywhat

Never suggested that we overpay anyone. There are posts suggesting that we don't bother with an offer at all, let him walk. We can "just draft a RB in the 1st." Wouldn't it be nice to use those picks shoring up positions of weakness instead plugging a brand new hole?

Someone posted a list of the highest RB salaries. There are recent 1st round picks are on that list. Making someone one of the top 5 paid at his position before he attends his first camp is not wise, IMO.

If we make a reasonable offer and he walks, then he walks. But I see no reason to not try to sign him. He's here, he knows the system, and he has performed.

I took a lot a heat from posters for believing Schwartz.
I am one who thought we could replace him.
Soon after I have stated that the FO made a mistake and I don't say that often.

But we will survive. Its been one season without him Pasztor was not an option...he still is available on the market I believe.

Whats Crow proven? It's not all his fault but he has yet to show he can be the consistent threat. Just because I believe he can be a special back doesnt mean he has shown enough to be paid like one. A true #1 back who hasnt had a 1000 yard season isnt going to get paid until he shows he can.

I said Schwartz was going to be a stud tackle. A lot of folks hated the pick and wanted him replaced even when he was having pretty good years. He had the best senior bowl week I have seen out of a Right tackle against what was supposed to be the best group of defensive linemen ever. I knew what the kid could do. It took him a couple years to become that true stud.

Coleman was the best player on that Auburn team until his injury. he reminded me a great deal of Marcus McNeil. He had the long arms combined with the power and aggressive nature. Best run blocking LT in the country. His pass protection wasnt bad either but I didnt think he had the feet to be an elite LT. He does have good enough feet to be your stud RT.

I thought Britt didnt want to be out there and I dont know if its because he is a vet and its preseason or if he just wanted a payday and is ready to spend his sundays poolside in a lawn chair.

Coleman played with the most passion that I have seen out of him. The stiff arm, not wanting to go down, fighting for every inch. This wasnt the soft player we saw in college and here last year.

Louis caught a ball with his hands away from the body. Improvement. He imho is still your 5th type receiver thats looking to climb the chart maybe practice squad.

I want to see more of Mulaney. The dig route he ran was awesome and it helped set up the double move he used to get deep. We need that. I think the kid has a real chance to play a lot for us.

boyce body caught even though I like a lot of what he does, he is practice squad at best.

Payton had the deep ball but he and Higgins just look like camp fodder to be honest.

Duke could be the leading receiver. he gives DBs nightmares with his quick hips and change of direction. we saw it last year when he would be open by literally 10 plus yards waving at the QB.

Right now I would say we have Coleman and Mulaney and Duke and a ton of ????? I really liked Mulaney a lot.

Forgot Hall, but he looks very intriguing. I really want to see more of Hall and Mulaney.

Louis will play a lot of football for this team this year. All reports are that he has improved by leaps and bounds this year, and I expect him to be a major weapon for us.

His leaps and bounds still might only elevate him to being marginal. He was, quite frankly, somewhere between Nothing and Terrible last year - "leaps and bounds" above that still isn't much.

We will invest heavily in WR again in the next draft.
