Watching Eagles - Dolphins. A couple of thoughts...
I'm watching two professional offenses. I don't see a professional offense when I watch the Browns.
I think passing on Wentz was a mistake.

He looks pretty good. Their OL doesn't.
I like Barnett, the rook from Tennessee on D.

Dammit...Those Wentz Warriors might have been right all along.
Tackles are tackles.

Wentz looked very good last night. He's got all of the tools.
Jags QBs looked very MEH again IMO.
Carolina's D looks good though

I tell ya what, probably the 2 most impressive QBs I have seen this preseason has been Jimmy G and Blaine freaking Gabbert. That kid is thriving in Bruce's Arizona offense.

LOL................Mahommes. Dude is so freaking terrible. He has great natural talent and made a very good play or two.
But goodness.........he takes a seven step drop, but then drops further and further back despite the pressure not even being close. He rolls out when no one is near him. He rolls left and looks to throw over the middle.
Dumb as hell.
Great athlete and he can sling it. But, he has no clue of how to play the position in the NFL.

Meredith's knee injury did not look good for Chicago.

And to think that the idiots running the Browns alienated Shanny so badly that he begged to leave.
Freaking Browns!

On one hand I am bitter about that. On the other hand nothing was going to keep him from getting a HC gig. So bleh.

Shanny worked for Pet. Hue got hired after the Browns fired Pet.

Oh bummer. I like Hue a lot. But I think Shanny is gonna be a HOF coach. He is the offense whisperer. Wish we had him.

It will be interesting to see what Atlanta does on O this year. They are loaded w/talent on that side of the ball.
Will they not miss a beat w/out Shanny? Or will they?

Man, the Vikings really miss Bridgewater. I know there are a lot of guys on this board who bad-mouth him, but the dude is a winner.
Minni sucked before he took over and they went straight downhill after they lost him.
It is not a coincidence. He's a winner who is one of the most cerebral qbs to come out of college in ages.

Bradford has just never inspired anything in me. He's so BLAH.

For Shanny, it'll all ride on how he manages people (players, coaches, etc.).
He's got all of the coaching genius to be one of the best, but the supposed knock on him is that he's arrogant and causes drama behind the scenes. Who knows if the stories from Washington are true or not, but I think his HC career hinges on the personality aspect. He's got all the coaching strategy/talent in the world.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
