I'm really sick of people promoting statues of traitors remaining in our parks. People who killed tens of thousands of American soldiers. And then they turn around and pretend to have some kind of outrage over peaceful protest.

One group killed our troops and went to war against our country. One simply kneels.

Lee) were indicted. Those who had been indicted received a blanket amnesty issued by President Andrew Johnson as he left office in 1869.

President Johnson issued a general amnesty, and also, gave pardons to many individuals who engaged in rebellion.

Therefore, no Treason was committed.

If you want a reality check then look up William Mumford. He was found guilty of Treason for doing what you are calling for with tearing down statues and flags. He was hanged by the neck until dead for pulling down an American flag in New Orleans.

You don't pardon people for doing nothing. Get a grip.

You need to get a grip on American History and the Laws of our Land.

Instead of looking to tear them down, you should educate yourself in what they stand for. Instead of tearing down our History and Laws in order to make future generations even more ignorant of them, you should first learn them yourself.

Just look at Sheriff Joe who recently received a Presidential Pardon. He is guilty of nothing.

Police, EMS Refuse to Hold Flag at Browns Opener After Players Kneel

Local police and EMS workers are not happy with a group of Cleveland Browns players who knelt during the national anthem.
As a result, according to FOX 8, the police and first responders are refusing to participate in the team's opening game ceremony.

The Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association and the ILA Local 1975, which represents dispatchers, EMTs and paramedics, informed the team that its members will not take the field to hold a large American flag.
The team opens the season at home Sept. 10 against the Steelers. Members of the military will reportedly hold the flag if the police and paramedics do not participate.
Players across the league have continued to kneel for the national anthem during the preseason, showing solidarity with free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
The Browns' kneel-down on Aug. 21 was the largest such demonstration so far.
