https://discord.gg/u3upEfH We've tried over the past few years to have a game day chat with some moderate success. I thought this year we could try out discord. It's free, works on a ton of devices and can actually just work direct from a browser.

I bought a desktop computer to replace the laptop I had basically been using as a desktop, which would all be good except I've had to completely rearrange everything and now have the PC and direcTV hooked up to the same screen. So, being on both at the same time doesn't work so well any more. I might see about breaking out the laptop, but haven't figured out which game I'm going to focus my attention on yet (OSU/Browns). I'll probably go Buckeyes, since that one counts.
You plan on using voice or just text?

Can't you just use a split screen on the desktop? You only need like 1/6 of the width for the chat.

Don't think so. At least not that I can figure out with this model as far as having 2 inputs activated at the same time. I guess I might be able to find a stream (and "split screen" with separate windows), but I was thinking it'd be blacked out locally (at least through direcTV online/Gamepass [live]) and I've never gotten around to messing with a VPN.
I'll figure something out.

Is discord Mac compatible? Not heard of it. Where is best info on it?
I am tech challenged, but it sounds interesting for the season. Good idea IMO.

I'd just click the link in the first post for more info. The right side of the page will let you get into the Dawgtalkers room, but the left side can get you to more generalized info.
It looks like it is Mac compatible as it mentions OSX support.

https://discordapp.com/downloadMac, Android, iOS, Linux plus the browser based version, so it does have a lot of options. I usually stream my Sunday Ticket to my PC, can't remember how I got around the blackouts last year. Usually use my tablet for discord. Not sure if we'll use voice...I am less censored verbally while watching the games
