This might be the last one...
If you didn't hear, they put him in a 85 gallon drum, sealed it and pushed him down a hill. Apparently the lid popped off and his head was hanging outside the drum and may have gotten messed up. They called 911 and he's at the ER now.
Dare dieter is usually entertaining, but today may have been the one that gets this shut down. We'll see, it could also be a way to keep everyone listening!

Yeah I was listening to it on the way to the doctor. Actually I was late b/c I was sitting in my car listening. The last I heard the EMS just got there and when I came out Rover was wrapping up. Sounded kinda bad and I doubt this was a stunt for "good radio". I hope he is alright.

I am listening to 92.3 and Rover is on right now. He said Dieter can feel his legs again but he has bleeding and fluid in his stomach.

Both were out there and they did get video. Rover said as long as he is alright they will have it up on Monday. They had a mic in the barrel too. Rover also said at the end of the show that as far as he is concerned Dare Dieter is over, but hopefully Dieter will act like a tough guy and say screw that. Thats the best part of the show.

From a previous link. CLEVELAND -- Dominic Dieter, a DJ for WKRI 92.3, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center after being injured during a radio stunt Friday morning. Many listened Friday morning when a DJ stunt went wrong. Dieter was dared to roll down a steep hill near East 49th Street and Marginal Road in an 85-gallon drum. The lid reportedly popped off and Dieter was injured. The station said he laid on the ground for 20 minutes, saying he could not feel his feet. Rover, the show's other host, said the Dare Dieter segment is over.NewsChannel5 was unable to reach the station's general manager. Dieter is being evaluated in the emergency room. The extent of his injuries are unknown. No other information is known at this time. Check back for updates. I hope the guy is alright..there's a reason these stunts shouldn't be done and we had to learn the hard way.

Dieter Update
FRIDAY 2:30 PM - Jim, Dumb and I left the hospital at about 12:30 PM today - Dieter was strapped to a table still with a neckbrace on so he couldn't move at all. We saw him for a few minutes, but he didn't want visitors, so we left after about an hour. He HAS regained feeling in all his extremities, which is a good sign. I hope to have another update soon.
SATURDAY - Dieter was discharged from Metro Health Center yesterday and is resting at home. He regained all feeling in his extremities, but has some type of fluid in his stomach from the incident, which doctors are concerned about and will follow up with Monday. He did not make it to the Calendar Search Party, but wishes to express his thanks for all the support and thoughts.
MONDAY - Dieter is unable to make it into work because of his injuries and will be seeing doctors throughout the day. We hope he will return on Tuesday and will be able to talk about his condition at that time. To honor Dieter the show is running a Dare Dieter Marathon.

I was listening this morning and they were playing the dare where he was dared to tongue kiss a gay guy for 10 seconds. Anyone know if he actually went through with it?
As I was going into to work it sounded like he was going to do it.

How old is this guy ? This stunt seems like something a twelve year old might attempt but most would have more sense.

He is 25 or something Lama Beer they are talking about it now again. I can't get the barrel video to work. He is in a neck brace.

lama - the only reason he's on the show is b/c of Dare Dieter. He does some really stupid stuff to prove that he's a man. Outside of that, he doesn't do much on the show. And he's 27 or so I believe, with a college degree from Mount Union I think.

morning talk shows are no longer about anything other than proving how stupid the local public is.
I was in Cleveland this past weekend for a high school reunion, and I couldn't find 1 rock station, everything was talk. Tons of country stations though, go figure.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

I agree FL. I got Sirius as well but I can't get reception in the house, so it's 92.3 while getting ready.

He did go to Mount...We are fraternity brothers....and yea I will admit it. Dieter is a good guy. Glad to see he is doing ok.

I listened for a couple minutes this morning before i went to bed just to see what they were saying about it. Dieter was back in studio. Rover is such a little weasel all he did was try to make it out to be Dumb and Jims fault. Rovers a chump and I cant stand him.

He's about 27 or 28. He went to the same grade school as me and was a few years older...
