damn i was hoping Mullany would make the team. he has solid hands. I hope he was cut early in a effort to get some teams to think we don't like him at all....Maybe we pick him back up for the practice squad. He did make plays. Not sure how we can cut him and keep some of the others?

j/c: #Browns kicker Cody Parkey is out and 7th round pick Zane Gonzalez has won the kicking job, source tells https://twitter.com/MaryKayCabot/status/903719433285324802Cody shouldn't have an issue finding employment. Good luck!

Here is my opinion of who the Browns cut.
I don't have a freakin opinion. I am not the GM, head coach, or position coach. All of you ummm donkeys need to chill out and wait till the roster is set next week. Sorry guys/girls but your opinion means nothing, and it's wrong 90 percent of the time anyway.
I AM ALWAYS RIGHT... except when I am wrong.

I saw where Zane missed a PAT last game. Not sure why, but we did spend a pick on him, so no real surprise. Parkey is a NFL kicker. He will land somewhere in time.

I get fired up from time to time as well, if you haven't noticed over the last 15 or so years. We all have players we like, and players we don't like as much.

I think the writing was on the wall after not playing him since week 2. Don't risk injuring him unless a team comes calling. No one did.

With the way Hogan has come on, I didn't want him cut. He might be better than Kizer, so it came down to Brock or Cody in my view. In the teams view maybe Hogan or Osweiler. Either way, I would have regretted cutting Hogan. He looks pretty good.

I didn't think he played well last night against their 2's and always thought he was in the same situation as Desmond Bryant. I also think he's not 100% I don't expect him to have too much trouble finding a job, considering a good physical. Thank you, Greco!

j/c: #Browns have cut Xavier Cooper as well https://twitter.com/MaryKayCabot/status/903724949168427013Not shocked by this, either. The d-line depth was going to be tough to get through. Like Greco, I don't expect an issue getting a job. Good luck!

I don't care about losing Xavier, but I'm not a fan of Greco going. I hope they're right with that one.

I don't agree with this at all. I don't think many will. He wasn't even making any significant money. My only guess is that they know they won't re-sign Greco at the end of the season and would rather keep a guy that has a chance to be on the team long term. The only problem is that if one of our offensive linemen goes down, we have an inexperienced player blocking for our young QB.

WOW, now that is surprising. Why? I saw nothing out of Osweiller that would indicate that the team saw any future with him. They tried handing him the starting job, and he flopped badly. He wasn't even in the final 2 preseason games. There was just nothing that indicated that he had a future with the team, at least to me.

There have certainly been a few things moves that I have questioned but could understand the argument for. This (the release of Greco) is one that I absolutely disagree with 100%.

Wow. At the beginning of the year I figured that Greco could be in trouble, but with Bitonio having injury issues, I assumed that Greco would make the team. They must have liked the growth that Drango showed throughout last year. I hope this one doesn't come back to bite us.

Anybody know if Brock has offset language in his contract? This year was fully guaranteed, and I do not think that he had offset in his deal .... though I am not 100% sure.
