- I think Hue will go hard with the run, so easily the Crow is first up.
- I expect Duke to be thrown in the mix as well, and I'm expecting at least one candidate for his #stiffarmsaturday. Hopefully it's Joe Haden!
- If you go hard with the run, it's only right to throw in some playaction. Corey Coleman gets his first touchdown of the season, maybe even 2.
- I know Gregg Williams is amping these guys up to come out Week 1 and hit any and everyone in the mouth. How long have we been getting man-handled by these guys? Yea, our young team has only been a part of those memories for only a few years, but its time to show up and turn the page.
- I expect a sack or two from a LB, either Collins or Schobert.
-Peppers make an impact in some way. Force fumble? fumble recovery? sack? int? special teams? It's bound to happen somewhere.

-Browns win 24-21

I'm looking for Coleman to step up. I think Coleman can get open against a supposedly weak secondary, even with Haden now on the steelers.

I'd like to see our RT coleman step up.

And I want to see our Safeties, specifically Kindred, cover TE's and save our corners, because Antonio brown and Bryant might have a field day on sunday.

I expect to see a lot of big plays against us. For us to even have a chance Ogbah and Garret have to have big days. So the optimist in me says it will be Garret and Ogbah.

i really hope our OL steps up and gives Kizer some comfort. I don't want to see him running for his life and chaotic. He'll have enough going through his head.

It'd also be nice to finally get some pressure on Ben with our DL

Right now I am just curious.

Hard to expect anything.

The defense looks improved but they will be tested big time.

In order to do anything on offense we had better be able to run the ball. Duke Johnson should prove to be valuable on offense.

Peppers may break one on special teams.

Think we are all dancing around the subject.

I think Kizer is going to need a big day. And the defense is going to have to provide pressure and make Bell feel his first game action.

last week I hoped Joe Haden would step up against Sammie Coates ... this week I'll say the opposite wink

The Freshman 15

It's not just gained weight the first year of college, it's some of the 21+ new faces on the Browns, rookies and vets who have yet to take a regular season snap in a Browns uniform.

I'm counting on The Freshman 15, collectively and individually to make an impact, in whatever way possible and be a factor in the Browns winning this game.

I'm talking about of course.

Myles Garrett
Trevon Coley
Matthew Dayes

Kenny Britt
Sammie Coates,

David Njouku

Jason McCourty
Calvin Pryor
Jabrill Peppers

Marcus Martin
JC Tretter
Kevin Zeitler

DeShone Kizer

Roderick Johnson
Larry Ogunjobi

Kasen Williams,
Zane Gonzales the kicker

But We know them. But the rest of the league doesn't know them yet. And I know I didn't mention, Caleb Brantley and Michael Jordan, and T.Y McGill, and Reggie Davis, and Howard Wilson, and Zach Sterup, and Alvin Hill, and James Burgess,
But if the New Faces STEP UP!

If the Frehsman 15 can make an impact and win battles, and score points, then this team is going to be positioned to win games.

So that's who I'm counting on to Step up, At least 15 of the 21+ new Browns, Veterans and rookies, to make a difference and impact the outcome of this game.

Because the Browns Vets are going to Bring it. Because it's the Steelers, "the Home Steeler Game" It's the Home Opener, and everybody knows what's up.

So the Browns Vets are going to Bring it!
And the New Faces are going to step up!

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Greg Williams has to step up.
All summer long all we have heard is how his
In your face approach is going to change the Browns defense etc etc
Guess what Greg your facing one of the best most balanced offenses in the NFL.
It's a case of the 4 Bs...Ben Bell Brown Bryant and Bey
This isn't the 49ers or Seahawks boring plodding offenses your used too.
He has to make Ben uncomfortable in the pocket
He can't let Leveon Bell take over the game
Let's see if this defensive coordinator full of hot air can slow the Steelers attack down

No "Bounty".

I just want to see Peppers meet and introduce himself to Bryant on a Slant. EARLY.

And I really don't care if he's flagged for 15 for doing it.

Someone said Nassib, and I agree in part. We need our other DL opposite Garrett to really make the offense strain

I agree. He needs to show why he was named the starter.

I am not expecting great things....say 240 in the air, a decent completion rate, no picks unless it a tipped ball or something like that.

there's no secret that we'll most likely have to win close/low scoring games (16-13 or 13-10, etc) .. the problem is, I don't know anyone in the NFL that can hold the Steelers down to 20 or fewer. IMO, they're the best offensive team ... maybe ATL or NE, but not by much

I think Kizer and the WR's will step up this game. I think our D will put Ben under just enough pressure to slow down the scoring and we will hang to the end... we have a 30% chance of winning imho.

If we have any chance at winning this game, it'll be by controlling the football with a healthy dose of the Crowell, relying on the defense to not allow Big Ben to get comfortable in the pocket and hopefully Kizer can come up with the big play or two.

I'm not hopeful.

Ogbah and Garrett putting much pressure on Ben.

LB's flying to the ball and being physical while not being undisciplined.

Peppers on D and returns.

The OL. Must create a little space for the RB's. A little time for Kizer.

Kizer needs to 'step up' - by not looking like a rookie. I am not asking for him to win the game or post great stats ... just don' lose the game by doing something dumb or getting hurt.
