Obama's Executive order was not only illegal according to our Constitution but was set up to be only temporary. 2 years and it ends. Trump has ended it and sent it to Congress to make it legal and to hopefully(according to him) compassionate.

Congress could make it permanent.
Congress could make it so it ends but those already here can stay.
Congress could make it better than Obama's order.
Congress will make it a law, in line with our Constitution.
Trump says if they do nothing, he will revisit the subject.

Congress could work on securing our borders like they said they'd do before adding any new immigration laws. But whatever. Let the cleansing continue.

Over ten years, Trumps actions may cost us 280 Billion in lost revenue and productivity and costs to get people out of the country.

What's worse, Trump followed up Sessions remark, Trump said that if they can't solve this issue (immigration) in 6 months, he'll revisit it.

Sessions (and you) are indicating it's illegal, but hey, it's not if Trump revisits it. WHAT?

This isn't going to be popular, but it's my honest opinion.

I believe those who support keeping DACA in place while it's in direct contradiction to our immigration laws are doing so from an emotional standpoint. I do understand that but this program wasn't done the right way from the beginning. Now had Obama have pardoned them all, that would have been withing his presidential power to do so. However, I don't believe that it's even legal for a president to make an executive order that overrides the rule of law. That's exactly what he did.

The court system and congress has that power, but not the president. As such, there's no doubt in my mind that Trump is doing what should have been done in the first place.

I know that's not the popular thing to say. But when you take all of the emotion and feelings out of it and look at the law, there's only one real way to address this. Change the law.
