honestly, this might be an all year thing

If Holmes hasn't signed anywhere, he may be back

So were they running a smash mouth practice when he got hurt ? You keep them out of preseason game four and go blaster in practice for game 1 ?

That really blows to lose Myles Garrett...plus I'm sure everyone wanted to see him...this off season so far has been really telling of his lower leg and ankles...I hope this isn't related to his foot injury in college, then again I think they said it is opposite legs...

Hoping him a quick recovery as those high ankle sprains are painful, extremely hard to bear weight on, and linger for awhile.

Yeah opposite leg. Banging in practice I think a must but not necessary relevant in the ankle sprain...could have been done at home for all we know. Not saying it was just saying if on the field more than likely it got rolled up on which does not always happen with a full out hitting session.

Sterup...well we are talking about he being the backup to a player who has yet to miss a rep of play in 10 years.

Making a roster move? we can assume that is the case so who are we acquiring or did we do so already. DE, well considering Orchard is Limited as well as Garrett I would think so.

As far as Banner I think he is a road grater for RT possibilities and does not have the skill set for LT - I believe he replaced Erving. Upgrade??? who knows.

LT backup...I think we are temporarily rolling the dice on that one. We do have a rookie from Boise State. He is a possible backup OG but might be converted??? But really got nothing and honestly...Joe Thomas is irreplaceable.

No one knows. And then also, these are the same comments I don't see when tackles are missed in game, and fans suggest going 'blaster' in practice to be more prepared in game.

Injuries happen. It's no ones fault.

Yep, Khalil Mack, is currently, unexpectedly, making Raider nation a little nervous.

I want this team to run hard practices. You don't get better by fearing injuries. You gotta hit and be hit to be ready for the game and that imho helps prevent far more injuries than it will create.

I'm saying we shouldn't hit in practice, but that doesn't make sense. The more you get hit, the higher the chance for injury (because getting hit causes injuries).

Also, was it a "live" practice or did someone just fall on Garrett's ankle?

I'm not sure how "live" it was, but I do know that Hue said the guys "really got after it" in his presser.

The Browns teammate that got into a fight with Calvin Pryor is WR Ricardo Lewis, sources say. No word on his fate.

He didn't do anything here but... a fight BEFORE practice?

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Wonder what these two bums were fighting about.

I was going to say, "Who cares? Pryor isn't even good anyway." But then I thought about it a little more and realized he has to be somewhat useful because he made the team.

Reynolds was/is hurt. Nacua is probably promoted for the practice squad for at least the Pittsburgh game.

Lots of unuseful guys make the team every year.

Right. But they still chose Pryor over some other guys for some reason. I'd prefer the coaches have the guys they want.

Either way. I'd prefer the front office/coaches have the players they want.

Pryor survived the cut from 90 to 53 for a reason (I didn't think he was going to). He'd be on the roster if he didn't, stupidly, get into a fight three days before the first game.

It's probably inconsequential.

I think it was special teams. I had read he was making plays there in the preseason.

yeah he was a special teamer pick.

Well it all depends on the circumstances and who started the fight and why. All we know is Prior is gone Louis is still here.

If the fight has sealed Louis' fate it will probably be after Coates, Davis and Williams learn the O.

jmho

I would not cut Louis as he has apparently now learned how to catch the football and and he actually ran a couple decent routes in preseason. Don't know if he had any catches but he did draw some PI and Holding calls as he was blowing by his man.

Lets see how he does.
