Brian Hoyer, #Browns starter in 2014, said he's in more stable situation: "The situation in Cleveland was a joke. Really, a circus." #49ers https://twitter.com/Eric_Branch/status/906202261340041217Hoyer was here for two seasons. Season one -- Hoyer torn ACL, Chud gets fired, Banner/Lombardi fired. Season two -- Pettine/Farmer hired, Manziel drafted. Circus is being kind.

Eric Berry - DB - Chiefs
Chiefs coach Andy Reid confirmed Friday that SS Eric Berry is out for the season with a ruptured Achilles.
It's a massive blow to the Chiefs' secondary as Berry was phenomenal against Rob Gronkowski in Thursday's opener and has been among the league's best safeties since arriving on the scene as a first-round pick in 2010. He's been a first-team All-Pro each of the last two seasons and earned PFF's No. 5 safety grade among 91 qualifiers in 2016. Daniel Sorensen is the leading candidate to replace Berry at strong safety.

tough break for Berry and KC. hate to see it
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Boston is far to the left as KC settles into the slot. Fannin is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Sampson are split in the backfield as the ball is hiked ... Here we go."

The injury to Berry will make a difference in the W/L total.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

BB isn't familiar with giving too many post game interviews after losing. Now in our case, our HC's over the years are SO familiar they've gotten very good at it. Maybe BB should start taking some lessons from us.

I live in Patriots territory and I don't dislike them at all but when they lose, especially like last night, I love to hear all the crybabies on the local sports talk shows. They would never support the Pats if they were losing the way I support my Browns with all the losing. That's pretty much the way it is with most Boston sports fans anyways.

Wow, Chuck Paganos RB scored a TD but was called down at the 1. He didnt challenge. They then got stopped three straight downs and had to kick a FG.
How can you have that kind of incompetence at the HC level in the NFL?

it must be really hard to be a QB playing for O'Brien.

4, since we have a good bit of houston's draft next year I think that is a good thing.

Man I thought our line didn't have a good game.
Seahawks line looks terrible.

Looking at the Rams highlight man that Oline is giving Goff all day and his weapons (Sammy Watkins, Woods, Kupp, Austin, Everett) are all showing up

bad OLs is a theme in the NFL (especially amongst bad teams) ... ours is better than most> i just wish we could run it more effectively (and consistently)

Ben McAdoo's greased-back hair looked mildly creepy. He may want to rethink that.

The rest of the AFCN Looks god awful. Flacco almost got concussed, too.
We have to beat each of them at least once
you had a good run Hank.

Jared Goff looked competent against a horrible Colts defense. I'll be interested to see how he improves with a real offensive coordinator and against a real team. I don't think Chuck Pagano makes it through the season.
There was some real bad QB play today. Carson Palmer was 27/48 for 269 yard, 1 ID, and 3 INTs. I watched quite a bit of that game and he looked like an old man. Tom Savage was so bad that he got benched after the first half of the first game. Blake Bortles was bad, but he didn't throw enough to screw anything up. Josh McCown was really bad. Andy Dalton was 16/31 for 170 yards and 4 INTs. Joe Flacco, because Dalton was so bad, didn't have to do much, but when he did he wasn't very good (9/17, 121 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT). Scott Tolzien was so bad that he got benched in favor of a guy that has been on the team one week (Jacoby Brissett). Brian Hoyer was bad and still can't throw the deep ball, he under threw/over threw a wide open Marquise Goodwin several times.
The Giants and Seahawks have big time problems on the offensive line.
Aaron Rodgers is/was so good. He was under pressure all day, but he always manages to manipulate/move out of the pocket in ways the create space. He always finds the open man. There was one play where he started rolling out to his right, noticed an open man, stopped on a dime, and threw a perfect pass for a first down. He is the best QB I've ever seen and I love watching him play.
The Seahawks getting Sheldon Richardson is not fair.
I love football season and am so glad it's back!

I saw that Rodgers play you were talking about in real-time. It seemed almost unreal.

Some thoughts on the other games:
--Maybe people will get off of Luck's back now. Indy is complete garbage w/out him.
--Giants OL is trash.
--Seattle's OL is trash.
--Houston's OL is trash.
--Andy Daulton? Really? It doesn't get much worse than that.
--Giant's OL is trash.
--Jax looked pretty physical on both sides of the ball.
--Cam was off by a mile on many throws, but Carolina looked physical.
--Chicago surprised me w/how well they played, but they now have no wide receivers.
--Wentz looked good in Philly and their D looked good.
--The Raiders are a legit contender.
--Aaron Rodgers is a magician.
--Dallas [as much as I hate to say it] looked like a very solid team that should challenge for a title.
--Carson Palmer.........not good.

Politics aside, I can't believe some of these teams aren't calling Colin Kaepernick yet.
