Yeah, replace Bauer with Tomlin. Bot, Cookie and Bauer have all been great the last month or two. I think Clevinger probably has the 4th spot cinched up as well. Arguably, one of the best of the bunch has been Merritt, but he only has a limited number of starts. In 4 starts he has an ERA under 1.75.
He’s looking to see if Salazar can return to his June 2016 AL Pitcher of the Month form.
I read today that they are sending Salazar to the bullpen. I think we'll see Kluber, Carrasco, Bauer, Clev, and Tomlin the rest of the way in the regular season, and then Kluber-Carrasco-Bauer in the post season 3-man rotation. Salazar could be a heckuva weapon coming out of the bullpen and just throwing high-90's cheese for an inning or 2.
Keep in mind, Francona is arguably the best head coachmanager in MLB right now. And it's likely he'll go down as one of the best head coachesmanagers of all time.
Fixed. In baseball, its manager. Sorry, don't mean to call anyone out, but that just grinds me. Like the time a buddy said, after a gut-wrenching 1 run loss, "Hey, we only lost by one point". Man, STFU. (Not you, him.)
If you’ve happen to come across this post, I’d like to suggest a promotion that would blow the mind of a city. And would go down as a top-ten sports highlight of 2017.
Arrange a flash mob of apparently random, unrelated Indians fans to break into a mob dance routine to this song near the main entrance of Progressive Field prior to a ball game.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
Just noticed ... Andrew Miller hasn't played since August 22nd. The Indians haven't lost since August 23rd. Maybe we shouldn't be in a hurry to rush him back?
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."
Believe it or not I'd like to lose a "few" before the playoffs ... just so there isn't the pressure of having a streak going

It was great to see thousands and thousands of Indians fans decked out in Chief Wahoo regalia at Progressive Field last night on a magical September night.
Stadium operations even allowed a couple guys to unfurl a huge Chief Wahoo muscleman placard at the end of the game. Looked like it was made out of wood.
No, it wasn’t Racist Day.
What a great September night. I’m so happy for the city of Cleveland and Tribe fans.
Nights like last night have been extremely rare the last 60+ years.
Heard an interesting stat on sportscenter (that I have not verified). Tim Kurkjian was talking about the Dodgers losing 13 of their last 14 and blamed it on their offense saying:
In their last 16 games the Dodgers have scored 40 runs In comparison, in their last 16 games the Indians have scored 25 runs - in the 1st inning alone.

Is buttcheeks one word? Or should I spread them apart?
#17 or so in a row ....... and no one's excited enough to post?
Man, we are getting spoiled.

Cavaliers got to the Finals, suffered big injuries, and lost, then went back and won.
Indians got to the World Series, suffered big injuries, and lost ...... will they go back and win it this year?
Stay tuened.

ya know i was talking to my wife about this. I was trying to tell her how hard this is to do. when i played we had our league schecule and then the traveling team.
i was on the 7-9, 10-12,13-15 traveling teams. ya we were playing 12-18 league games and 30-50 tournement games a yr. Then you get into HS. and right into American Legion ball.
I told her in all that time only twice did this happen with me. Once in the 13-15 we went 18-0 in the league, and once in American Legion we won 21 straight games.
Not bad for a guy who was playing American Legion Ball at 5'10 and weight 175 , but still put one out at 475' . and ya my dad raised me to be a pro player, but when the call came i said no. My mom was listening to the call. I asked her to please not tell dad, and she never did, but i find out that after my Dad passed all my brother's and sister knew.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.
That's awesome. I quit watching baseball years ago, but followed the Tribe in the playoffs this year. I haven't watched one game this year, but will watch the Indians in the playoffs again. I'm pretty excited.
I need to start reading this thread so you I can pick up some information.
Minnesota lost today, so the Tribe's magic number is down to single digits, at 9.
