"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

I don't know if it's politically correct to call them a "tribe" - racist intonations and all, ya know.

Two homers back to back and NO OUTS!

An outfielder dropped a ball? I don't think I've ever seen that?

Joe Smith came in and ended a 1 out 7th in no time flat. Tribe up 2-1, stretch time. Let's go Tribe!

According to Francona, Bradley Zimmer has a broken bone in his hand from when he was stepped on. Will be further evaluated tomorrow. https://twitter.com/RyanLewisABJ/status/907081303396421633

j/c... Great game. Another outstanding performancnce by Bauer and the bullpen. Moment of the night was when Frankie broke his bat, Almonte gave him his bat to use and proceeded to crush a HR. Even better, Lindor was smiling a split second before he hit the ball as if he knew he was a about to tag the pitch. Immediately, looked back and smiled at Almonte in the dugout as the ball flew out to the RF seats... Baseball King™ @BasebaIlKing 1h1 hour ago Francisco Lindor just smiled as the pitch he was about to hit for a home run reached his bat Video Clip of Lindor's HR And this pic is great.... Jordan Bastian Verified account @MLBastian Hellickson is watching the ball. Lindor is looking at the Indians' dugout after his 29th homer of the season puts Tribe up 3-1 in sixth.

What a crazy, great streak (and I'm not even an Indians fan). It's quite a remarkable streak. And, a fun ride! Coincidentally, the Dodgers are doing the opposite. Losers of 10 in a row and 15 of 16. Baseball is a funny game. Are people freaking out in L.A.?

Are people freaking out in L.A.? Yes. The Dodgers have broken many hearts the last twenty years and their fans are very sensitive to anything negative. I keep reminding my friends that they are still nine games up on the Diamondbacks (who are also having a crazy hot). Baseball is not about "peaking at the right time" or "having the best team". It's about getting to the playoffs. Once you get to the playoffs you basically have the same chance as everyone else (I do not consider the one game wildcard play in game a part of the playoffs).

Agree and strongly agree. It bothers me that the Indians have a banner/painted flag atop the dugout recognizing them making the "playoffs" in 2013.

I keep reminding my friends that they are still nine games up on the Diamondbacks (who are also having a crazy hot). I can't believe what a 180 the Dodgers have pulled. They looked like an unstoppable juggernaut just a month ago. Just think, the Indians were already in first place and have since won 18 in a row while the Dodgers have lost 15 of 16. Yet they still have a 5 game lead on us for best record. That's how crazy-good they were before the last few weeks.

Cleveland easily wins the "broken hearts club" by comparison. They lost 8 playoff series to our 7, but we suffered three catastrophic gut-punching outcomes. We lost a 3-1 lead in the ALCS against Boston and then lost two WS game 7's in EXTRA FREAKING INNINGS! All of their NLCS losses were quite forgettable. So, I say "meh" to their sensitivity.

They also won a World Series in 1988. Right, I remember that series a lot, but I was referencing the "last 20 years" by comparison. They have had it easy compared to us.

We interrupt this Dodger talk with the following bulletin: apparently, the Indians are moving Jason Kipnis to CF - on a trial basis - in an attempt to replace Bradley Zimmer. http://www.cleveland.com/tribe/index.ssf...ncart_big-photo

Just guessing they like his bat over those guys' offensive abilities, which is dumb IMO. I'd be fine with Jackson and Chis splitting CF duties. Defense up the middle (C, 2B, SS, CF) is the hallmark of all great defensive teams.

Windians. LOL.............I like it! It's the Indians Twitter handle, they add a W for each win. Twitter has a 20 character limit, so they are running out of letters for "Indians". Man, they was a brutal ball to the forearm for Ramirez.
