I think some people are over exaggerating the amount of snaps our Mike will play.

I could be mistaken [but I doubt it] but I was the first person to bring up the fact about how often teams were in the nickel. I understand it. There is no doubt about that.

But, this 5 percent stuff is an exaggeration.

Pryor had a rep of not being a good teammate. Davis was all class. You can spin it any way you want, but I do not think it was a smart trade.

I am not saying I am correct. I am simply voicing my opinion.

Speaking of that............here is what kills me about this board.....a post like mine is almost always questioned by several posters and most of those posters make it personal. Yet, when other posters make preposterous claims about how good our roster is looking or how smart the FO is...........those claims go unchallenged by the same posters.

What makes it worse, other posters say those that question the moves of the FO have agendas while posters who never ever say a negative thing about the FO are never said to have agendas.

I call BS!

And I don't care if any of you like it or not. It's the truth.

Having class is great, but it doesn't win you any football games by itself.

Lots of classy UDFA's never make the roster. Lots of classy vets get cut or traded. It's a reality in football.

Here's what kills me about this board. On most message boards a guy that has been given vacations as many times as you have would have been banned by now.

A guy that has chaffed as many butts as you have on here should be grateful he is still allowed to post instead of trying to pick a war against any opinion that doesn't agree with yours.

You say you don't care whether I like it or not, but that is not the truth.

The truth is that it kills you any time that someone doesn't totally agree with you on every single opinion that you have on this board.

It eats you alive.

That's the reason why you act like you do here and get all of those lovely vacations. You can't stand that everyone on here doesn't totally agree with you.

All the rest of us have to do is ignore your attempts to control everyone else's opinions and eventually you'll explode that one last time to earn you that permanent vacation.

That my friend is the truth and I don't think it's going to make a difference whether you like it or not.

Great football post. I am not going to bother trying to dispute your claims.

I will continue to express my opinions until you all ban me for life. And who will be the real losers in that scenario?

It's not usually your football opinions that get you into trouble. It's your opinions about everyone else's opinions that do that.

Not a football post and an opinion about my opinion.

When I made that football post that although I'd agree with you if we were talking about Greco, it's a stretch to say that we made poor moves with Erving and Davis. You were the one that couldn't leave it there. You were the one that strayed away from football and made it about the posters on the board that don't agree with you.

Like I said, you can't seem to stand it when people don't agree with you. It's what gets you in trouble every time. Don't open up the door if you don't want people to walk in.

The trade was made because we are weak at safety and because Davis doesn't fit the MLB role the way DC Gregg Williams wants his players to. Davis is a big run stopping type that fills the gap and Williams has always used the speedier sideline to sideline type players. He had London Fletcher at Washington, Jonathan Vilma at New Orleans, and James Laurinaitis when he joined the Rams.

I disagree w/your analysis of Davis as a player.

I am also saying that Pryor's problems in NY were apparently overlooked by the FO.

I'm okay w/you and others disagreeing w/my takes. But, I'll keep my take, if that is okay w/you.

And now we have Joe Schobert, going sideline to sideline, making plays, and crushing Steelers!

I have no problem with you keeping your opinion. As far as Pryor having problems in NY, I heard that too but sometimes a change of scenery helps. Look at Jamar Taylor he was considered to be somewhat of a malcontent in Miami.

Still, the primary issue wasn't that the Redskins were unprepared. Cousins on the first play of the game failed to hook up with an open Terrelle Pryor, who seemingly lost the ball in the sun. A chance for a big play led to frustration for the offense.

On another play, Pryor dropped what would have been a 50-yard completion -- he said he didn't see it until the last second. No matter, though. The Redskins were called for holding anyway. There was also a drop on first-and-10 deep in their own territory. Pryor did not play in the final two series.

What do you mean by this?

I don't think either side in a debate should over react to one game. Pryor will have better games. He may have some worse games. But given your propensity for making the same point ad nauseum, you could have come up with something better than you did. What does your comment mean?

Kenny Britt's starting job in jeopardy: 'Let's see where we go this week,' says Hue Jackson

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Browns receiver Kenny Britt may have dropped himself out of the Browns' starting lineup.

Signed to a four-year, $32 million in the offseason to replace Terrelle Pryor, Britt dropped a clutch 18-yard pass from DeShone Kizer in the fourth quarter when he was wide open over the middle

The drop came at a crucial point in the game, with the Browns trailing 21-10 and Derrick Kindred just having picked off Ben Roethliberger to breathe new life into the Browns.

Britt turned to run upfield before he secured the ball and let it slip through his hands.

The Browns punted two plays later.

"You can't do that to a young quarterback,'' said Jackson. "You've got to make that play.''

Jackson was asked why Britt is still starting.

"Let's see where we go this week,'' he said. "Let's see what we're doing this week. Let's find out. You're saying he's starting this week. We don't know that. So let's see where we are this week and go from there."

He reiterated that Britt will have to step it up to maintain his status, meaning this is a big week of practice for him.

"Obviously, he dropped the ball,'' said Jackson. "You have to play better. It's just that simple."

The drop comes on the heels of Britt dropping a third down pass in the red zone in the dress rehearsal game in Tampa.

He also had a miscommunication with Kizer on a deep third-down sideline route that brought out the punt team in the second quarter.

Overall, he finished with one catch for 13 yards on his three targets.

Backing him up is Ricardo Louis, who caught two passes for 32 yards, including a 29-yarder down the seam that led to Corey Coleman's 3-yard TD catch in the fourth quarter. Louis was hit hard by safety Mike Mitchell after the catch, and earlier was blasted helmet-to-helmet by cornerback William Gay.

He was checked for a concussion, but cleared in time to make the big catch on the TD drive.

The performance could earn Louis the start Sunday in Baltimore in place of Britt.

Petey, that is what I do not get. trading Davis did not leave some gaping hole. It let us turn lose schobert who is years younger and has played very well. when I hear someone complain about that move it makes me think they just want to complain

Start your best players ... at this point Britt has done nothing in my eyes and is on track to be Dwayne Bowe 2.0 ... I hope he wakes up and does something on Sundays to change my mind. If relegating him a spot on the depth charts motivates him, good.

Yeah, I just don't think losing Demario was much of a loss. And I doubt the defensive coaches care now.

I agree that sometimes people make a stink about some things. I mean, truth is, there will always be things we disagree with about the front office. And they will make some decisions that, in retrospect, were the wrong decision.

What we have to hope is that they do more positive than negative on a consistent basis. Cause there are plenty of successful teams and FO's that have turned teams around that have made some mistakes. You just have to hope that they make up for those with their successes

Hey mac, past FO mistakes aside, what's your take on the team as whole at this point, and do you see progress, growth, and potential for the future? What has you most excited about this 53? And what do you think of Kizer moving forward?

After watching the game, Britt should still be available too.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Yeah, I'm not getting the "give Britt some time" comments. He half-assed it through preseason and did squat when we really needed a veteran receiver for our rookie qb in his first game. He's getting compensated as a seasoned vet and is not earning his paycheck.

I don't think he half assed it that much. I mean he was there. Better than Bowe who was "Injured".

I just think it's a little brash (am I using the right word?) to want to get rid of him after one game.

Sure, with that contract, I'd much rather have Pryor. But, we still have 15 games left for him to show us his value. I'm definitely not giving up on him yet

cal...as a team, they looked improved...but the Browns were a 1-15 team, worst in the NFL last season and that should be fairly easy to improve upon.

At this point...it is only one game so to make any predictions based on 1 game would be premature.

Individually...Coleman appears to be improved. As the #1, he should get the opportunities..he was targeted 6 times and caught 5 and took some shots..that is a good days work.

On defense, I thought Schobert played a good game..all over the field..and definitely looks improved over last season.

I'm not going to attempt to predict the future based on one game in year two of a rebuild. I'm cautiously optimistic...

Kizer excites me the most, because he appears to have everything it takes to be a good QB for years to come. Every team that is a winner long term, finds that QB to fit their system. No team in the NFL has struggled more than the Browns to find "that QB".

I might be a bit biased about Kizer because he is from Toledo and I've followed his progress through his HS career as a multi-sport athlete.

What is most important to know about Kizer is who he is, not what he is. He is a good kid from a good family, brought up with discipline and values.

The Browns were fortunate to get him...

I think this sums up most people's feeling at this point pretty well.

Pfh... All we have to do is lose a position coach or two and he'll be right. Not what I would call a BOLD prediction. There's a huge difference between "all parties" not coming back and wholesale change. I'm pretty sure we can expect to not see wholesale change.

I love it when media boobs (JLC is definitely one) put a stake in the ground like this. Ok Mr. "sources", let's see how much you really know.

I hope that I remember this a year from now.

Sorry La Canfora is a BOZO. I think he gets off being the jerk against Browns fans. Man we should all just ignore this guy and let him die off in the sunset.

Getting to hate him. And I don't hate much.
