So since Trump went to work with Dems I've noticed he hasn't made any major gaffes, hasn't had many twitter tirades, and hasn't made any big headlines... Scary.
Could it be that Kelly has tamed Trump? Could it be that Trump is trying to keep a low profile? No way.
Hurricanes have sucked the wind out of the Trump Train's slow motion crash for the last two weeks; but he is still Trump.
He visited Texas like he was on a pious mission to bless the poor with his presence, Melania Shined!
He was quick to tout how horrible the devastation from Harvey was but a tad slow to respond, however he got an immediate do-over with Irma and got out in front of her. Kudos for that.
Mexico offered us help after Harvey hit Houston, even as Trump continued to disparage Mexico in his stump-like speeches about building that stupid wall. Then Mexico has a major earthquake that has been largely ignored by the MSM (so Trump probably is unaware that it happened), and Trump failed to offer any condolences or aid. Rightfully outraged Mexico withdrew their offer of assistance with the Harvey aftermath today.
Kim Jung Un is still being a thorn in Trump's side even after the "Fire and Fury" comments... Trump is still making empty threats and the little dictator is doing whatever he wants like launching missiles over Japan, testing an H bomb, and moving missile launch equipment into positions that look like they are aimed at Guam. Our generals chest thump but KJU doesn't seem to feel threatened at all.
Meanwhile, Trump decides to go after dreamers then backs off the threat to deport dreamers after backlash, then puts pressure on congress to act within six months then takes the pressure off by tweeting if they don't act he'll revisit the issue. So basically his policy on dreamers is to string them up and play yoyo with their hopes and dreams.
BUT EVEN WITH ALL THAT, this has been the smoothest two weeks of the Trump Presidency... Kudos to Trump, or Kelly, or the hurricanes (whoever is responsible).
In other news, just read the Trump's lawyers wanted Kushner to step down in light of the Russian meeting. Didn't happen but one must wonder if it's coming.

But I'm happy Trump is working with dems and you are right, this is more bipartisan than the last 8 years! Pelosi and Schumer did another deal at wednesday dinner! Dreamers get to stay with no wall funding.
