Why we'll lose this one, go!

I'm going to say Dalton throws on us and their defense causes two plus interceptions. Bengals turn things around for this game at least and breeze away with an easy one.

I hope your wrong but that seems very possible.

I would not be surprised at this result.
I do think we score in garbage time to keep it close to a 10 point game.

I think we win.

I won't put money on it, but I'll say it.

Sacks, INTs, fumbles & penalties. Mixon runs wild and AJ has a 150 yard, two TD day. We rally in the second half to lose by 10. Go Browns!

ST's kill us as well as your four listed. If we keep it to 10 for a spread, we have had a good day.

so which player on the bengals will have a career day on us this sunday?

seems to be a tradition with our team. no names, rookies, and washed up vets end up having paydays against us.

I'm going with something we haven't seen but easily backs up the "Browns always find a way to lose" tagline.

But most likely we can't run the ball, can't catch the ball, and can't cover their receivers.

Must win for both teams.
The Bengals have had their way with the Browns in recent memory
Cincy played the Packers to overtime
Both offenses are trying to find identities
Bengals have emerging playmakers on defense
Bengals 27 Browns 17

Our D is going to get shredded.
We'll focus on stopping the run, and we will focus so hard on that we will get destroyed by the pass. Again.

Whomever it was that got regularly abused by TY Hilton - look for him to have another rough day this Sunday. As long as they don't hand us mistakes on a platter, they will march it down the field every drive.

On offense, we will be what we've seen so far.... disorganized, harried, and flash-in-a-pan. We'll have our moments; enough of them to keep us on the verge of believing, but not enough to overcome our mistakes, which will again be plentiful.

You only had to watch the last two games.

A.J.Green.

We'll get destroyed in the pass game all year because our secondary sucks and every team we play knows it.

Let's put it as predictably as possible:

1. We can't cover Tyler Eifert and he has a huge day
2. We can't cover Bernard or Mixon and they torch us in the pass game
3. AJ Green will go for 100+
4. Geno Atkins
5. We're good for 2+ turnovers and 8+ penalties a game

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Pretty much the truth...I think though Eifert is out with his back injury or doubtful...But AJ Green will be huge for them...also wouldn't be surprised if Lafell or Boyd get a TD too...Bernard will make some big plays for them...and I expect Jeremy Hill to punch a TD near the goal line on us as well.

Maybe not a crystal ball, but there is a pattern forming that makes most of what he says a practical prediction.

I hope that we get Collins back. I think that he was a huge missing piece last week.

I also hope we get Garrett on the field. I think that he can hbe a major threat rushing the passer on passing downs.

Are there any prop bets on the number of drops/penalties/interceptions this game?

We need to jump out to a 5 TD lead as soon as possible.

I wonder if it's possible to run blitz whilst disrupting Dalton's throwing lanes. Dalton is my only hope of winning. Stop the run and force some INTs. I feel Peppers has to start covering closer to LOS - maybe we play a CB over the top to cover Green. Is Boddy in this week?

Garrett and Collins will make an exponential difference IMO in terms of freeing up and allowing other players to make plays.

I still think we lose. I just hope we finally see some light.

First A J Green is going off. The defensive scheme we run will allow him to beat man coverage and the safeties will be late to the party.

Their line is not good, and neither is Green Bay's, so that game was a fluke.

I think we stop the run, but only after it punishes us for two quarters. I see a bunch of stops for loss and no gain, followed by 30 yard plays from Mixon, who will be touted as an all pro after the game by the talking heads.

I see Geno Atkins eating Crow for lunch.

I predict Duke has a huge game, but not enough to carry the team.

I see us down by three in the fourth with 6 minutes and no timeouts. We make it into field goal range then holds and false starts put us out of range and time expires.

24-21 Bengals

We always make opponents look better then they are. I wish we had a healthy MG and JC. The D wasn't the same without JC last game and I'm sure we would do better with MG in there. We need a better pass rush.

Wait! How many sacks? That would be a sporting over/under for the day. Or maybe fewer/more than previous week with odds. Just need some much improved play out of secondary and wideouts. I just can't bring myself to call them 'receivers' after this start . . . .

Bengals - 33

Browns - 17

Why we lose?
1) Can't catch a football.
2) Can't/Won't run the football
3) Commit a lot of penalties.
4) Can't stop the pass.
5) Can't pressure the QB
6) Turnovers.
7) They have AJ Green and we don't.

Eifert wont have a big day. But thats because hes hurt and is out this game. Lol

Gregg must find a way to do 2 things in this game:

Pressure Dalton
Blanket Green

Those are the only two who remotely scare me. Mixon is a good runner in the open field but goes down easy and has poor vision. Hill is really bad and who knows on Gio.

On offense...give the ball to Duke for the love of god. Not that hard. Stop with the insane downfield barrage so we dont turn the ball over so much. Run tons.

Browns lose 17-14. Ugly game. Both offenses suck and their defense is slightly better.

you had a good run Hank.
