and Delhome is LIGHT YEARS BETTER THAN FRYE ..... not even close ...
1) If im not mistaken.. Delhomee was in the dog house last year.. another reason they brought in the guy from Houston
2) if he was.. then Frye would not even be considered the Starter and the race would be b/w Anderson and Quinn...

your mistaken he wasn't in the dog house ....
and they brought in the guy from Houston because they thnk he can be a REAL GOOD QB in this league ... and there willing to give him a shot ... he very well may beat out Jake .. that doesnt make Frye even close to Jake .. thats WARPED LOGIC at best ...
if he was brought here ... Frye would'nt even be in the discussion ...

*LOL* .... What??? I have no idea what your even trying to say here ... please tell me your not saying that because Frye is an a battle with DA and BQ that makes him about the same as Jake ... PLEASE TELL ME thats not what u mean .. cause if it is .. it makes your WARPED LOGIC above look GENIUS ... *L* ,..

Carr isn't going to beat out Delhomme.

Carr just MIGHT beat out Delhomme, IMO. Maybe not right away, but if delhomme falters, Carr could come in and steal the starter's role for good.

http://msn.foxsports.com/fantasy/story/6867912just a lil part of this article.. Quote:
Top flop in 2006 Jake Delhomme, QB: No, he wasn't terrible, but he surely wasn't as good as he's been in the past. In 13 games last season, Delhomme threw for less than 3,000 yards and just 17 touchdowns. The 11 picks weren't bad, but he only registered three games with over 250 yards (one 300-yard game) and only one with three touchdowns. He didn't really kill owners, but he didn't help them all that much either. Overall, with where he was picked in most drafts, you'd have to consider him a disappointment, though DeShaun Foster and the D/ST were close behind.

http://www.fantasyfootballjungle.com/articles/index.php?id=209another one.. Quote:
Carolina has a bit of a Quarterback controversy brewing even though most within the organization will deny that. I wouldn’t be shocked to see David Carr become the starter sooner rather than later in Carolina. The plus to that is Carr might be the better Quarterback but the negative is Jake Delhomme throws the ball to Smith most of the time.

I think he's on the Hot Seat now, not because he's horrible, but because Carr is better. To me, Delhomme has always just been "that guy." Never done anything more than good enough to keep his job for a couple seasons.
