Anyone getting this game today (or last night)?
Im picking mine up on my lunch break. Cant start my Dynasty until I get the rosters (probably Thursday or Friday it sounds)
I will probably be online playing.

Let me know how the gameplay is. NCAA 2004 was the best.

I liked NCAA 07 360 so much better than Madden 360, I still play my dynasty from time to time. I'll probably grab this for rent this weekend if I go early enough, hopefully it'll play better that 07.

The commercials for this look amazing in HD. I know that's not the gameplay, but it still looks damn good.
I gotta get a PS3...

This Legend thing they have is pretty fun. I decided to try it out while I wait for my rosters.
You create a high school ( I created mine with the same colors and everything)
You play the high school playoffs, 4 games, 3 at a high school stadium and the state championship in a major college stadium. Ohio is where the Buckeyes play.
then you get offered a scholarship. I took a scholarship at UNLV (g/f is moving to Vegas) as a 3rd string RB. Got up to the starting RB by week 3 and got injured on the first play, only out one week though.
Its a lot of fun and I havent even gotten my rosters or started my offline dynasty yet. Played for over 4 hours after work, I think its a must buy.

Been playing Campus Legend all day at work - stuff's addicting, those HS games are just too fun. EA has a ton of Ohio HS to choose from.
I took my Qb and went to South Carolina, started and beat Goergia in week 2.
Great way to tide me over 'til the rosters come out.

I heard the framerate looks good....but chops up after selecting a play. Any confirmation on this?

The only time I have notcied anything choppy is during the main menu screens and area other than the actual gameplay. Thats on the 360 though which runs at 60 FPS, PS# only runs at 30 FPS.

I agree, When I get the rosters I will be all dynasty with my buddy, but until then this Campus Legend mode is fun. I actually want to start over and play the high school games again. It was awesome.

Another thing that is kind of cool is that if you play a buddy, and you have your 360 connected to the net, when you play you can play with the real weather conditions.
Like yesterday if you played someone in the Rubber Bowl it was raining.

Not sure what mode you are talking about?
In the campus legend they didnt ask me who my rival was. That asked me who my favorite college team was but not who my rival was.
i think you just created a University for regular Dynasty mode or something.

I think you might be out of luck there.
Me and a buddy of mine do a Dynasty together in college football (seprate teams) and we also do a Madden season togehter. One of the best parts is the NFL draft during our Madden season, especially with the real names loaded in when we draft.

I just lost the most ridiculous game online I literally wanted to break something...
14-7 49 seconds left kick a field goal the stick decides to say it went right (19 yrd field goal mind you) missed field goal.
He gets the ball, throws it down the sideline my CB spins around in mid air completely misses and my safety is playing in front of that WR gone for a td.
First 2 OT's not a single point, third OT he kicks a 50 yard field goal and I go nowhere but backwards as no one makes a play...

additional question...for the 360, is there a way to transfer the file over to the xbox hard drive from an external hard drive?
The 360 has usb ports, but, when i plug in my external it doesnt register...and im confused

absolutely not.
it's just that the game is very far from being realistic...
ask 2119 about it, we both have the same exact taste in sports games, we want stuff that was realistic... he tried putting together a nba 2k league, and people were just playing like asses, rapdily hitting the "swat/steal" button the minute you took the ball out of bounds...
its not topdawgs fault that the game is like that, it just grinds my gears when you play a game that ends up being 100-70 (or whatever it was)

all these ncaa commercials with the former college players (adrian peterson, matt leinart, zabransky, etc) that show their gamertag at the end of the commercial (i think peterson's was soonerpride28)
