I believe Kessler will be cut before Hogan. If Brock gets traded, Kessler probably stays, imo

Durango looks like he's on the chopping block. Surprised Hall is behind Boyce Orchard is 5th DE Holmes seems to have made it Pryor moves into a backup safety spot Drango does seem like he has been in the dawghouse, but baring a major set back with Bitonio, Greco is the first interior OL of the bench, then the next interior OL might not even be active, so then it becomes more of a business question and Drango a later round Draft pick with three years left under contract, might trump a guy like Martin, who is in the last year of a his contract and do more money. Hall has been getting far more reps then the depth chart is showing and I think seperating somewhat at least in my mind, which doesn't count. For me it's a coin flip between Pryor and Campbell. Holmes has looked good, albeit vs second and third teamers. Orchard and Johnson, although injured of late, I think still are ahead of him.

Yeah, hall is a question mark ... I would assume he'd be ahead of where the depth chart is showing him
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Brock being traded will only happen for good value IMHO. No way they trade him for nothing just to dump part of his contract, not with Kessler and Hogan as alternative backups.

Not to mention, we're on the hook for his salary no matter what - we may as well get something for it.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

We owe BO 16 million (obviously gained a 2nd round pick) .. but think about what he cost Houston?? What a bad signing

Keep in mind coaches don't get down deep in thought on this depth chart especially preseason. They have to make one for the League.
Also for example. They have seen Hall - he had a lot of reps in the Tampa game with the ones. We know who he is. So maybe a bubble guy like Boyce is going to get more reps cause we wish to see more for our final decision. Durango...tough call cause we got a new OL Coach and possibly he is not fitting into his philosophy of the OL game??? I thought for sure once Greco stepped up for Bitonio...Durango would fit in with the 2's in Greco's spot. Also some of these new guys that I never heard of are doing ok...possibly better than Durango...that actually is good news cause we know Durango we assume he is better but if somebody or a couple interior guys beat him out...that is a good thing as we upgraded.
I see Martin, Reiter, Greco all making the team. Tough to tell on the outside.

Cam Johnson always seemed to make plays whenever he played. Would have liked to kept him but this opens the door for Nassib/Holmes to stick

There was a few games where he made big sacks/tackles for a loss. It seems like he is more of a hybrid linebacker and that doesn't really fit with all the guys we have now.

I always thought that both where bad choices for our then 34 D. Holmes has put the pressure on the Caoching staff, due in part to Johnson and Orchard's injuries. Either player, Orchard or Holmes will be picked up if cut imo. Probably to NE.

Daryl Ruiter‏Verified account @RuiterWrongFAN Following More #Browns terminated the contract of DL Cam Johnson & waived DB Ed Reynolds II with an injury designation If Reynolds isn't claimed by another team, he'll revert to our IR list. We have a ton of DL, and this gives Cam a shot at catching on elsewhere, instead of being caught up in the wash of final cuts. It actually wouldn't surprise me if he had asked for his release.

Also maybe to sneak in a few for Practice Squad not that Johnson is eligible.

I've always been a fan of Schobert, I thought he was out of place at OLB in a 34...i think he would have been fine at ILB though.... better then DD anyhow

it'd be nice to get reynolds back, at least to be a future backup

i think we'll release a few players a day .. to lessen the burden of Saturday I agree for a couple of reasons. First, you can't sit down and tell 30 or so they are cut in one day . That isn't a easy day. I don't know how long a cut interview migh last, but is lasts longer than posting a cut list on the wall with no discussion. Second, it opens roster positions where we might scoop up other cuts
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

Would like to see more of Duke and Dayes and less of Crowell ...
