I don't watch the Indians all the time, but I know about Bauer and have liked him since he was drafted by the Diamondbacks. He was ridiculous last night. His curveball was literally unhittable.

I fully expect the Indians to win again today (10/6) with Kluber starting.

(Full disclosure, I am a Yankee fan and it is a pleasure to watch the Indians pitch and has been all season.)

Yep, Yankee fan here as well. I'm resigned to the fact that NYY has surpassed expectations this year ... and I will be rooting for CLE starting Sunday night

Screw you FS1.

Everybody hates ESPN and the network channels and everybody wants more choices.... until something like this happens.

Call your cable provider and complain that this isn't in the package you have..

It was an awesome game btw.. Bauer was straight dealing.. and if the Tribe could have gotten just one or two timely hits, this could have been a much bigger blow out.

Was happy to see to Allen come in and NOT make a 4 run lead interesting like he has a habit of doing..

team shutout and 3 hitter... and we haven't even pitched our best yet. thumbsup

This is what I was exactly thinking after Miller walked two batters in the eigth and Allen came in with Judge at bat.

That had 4-3 written all over it.

But Allen rose to the occasion and gave Judge his 4th strike-out of the game.

I have a good friend who's a Yankees fan as well. He says the prevailing opinion is that they're playing with house money and are for the most part are just happy to have made the playoffs. He too will be pulling for the Indians if they win the series.

I agree with the above sentiment. This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the Yankees and they won 91 games (and Aaron Judge is an MVP candidate).

not to mention Frazier, Sanchez, Bird returning, Didi continuing to improve ... IMO, we get an ace and we're in business

Severino is going finish third in the Cy Young voting and he's only 23! The ace is already there. This team will be scary with all the payroll opening up, plus the young arsenal they have.

Wow, pathetic effort at the plate by Ramirez and Brantley

More so Brantley than Ramirez. JRam realized he swung at a bad ball. Brantley watched two strikes and swung at a ball.

Dumb Tito, always leaves starters in a pitch to long.

Dude, he's been the best pitcher in baseball for three months now. If anyone should be able to get you out of a jam, it's Kluber. He just didn't have his best stuff today.

Yankees have a lot more power than we do, our pitching can’t have games like this. And we lost EE more than likely the rest of this series minimum. Hopefully we start taking advantage of risp, bases loaded and 1 out and not a single run, not gonna work

Exactly, you don’t jee him in there, 70+ pitches in 3 innings, he’s not going to get you out of it

Do you just troll from one thread to another? Some of your statements are more than ridiculous. He's the best pitcher in the league. You give him the chance to work out of it. Maybe you and JCamm should just stop watching now.

The game's in the third inning and we have scored more than six runs before.

Yankees are much better offensively than we are, you can’t play from behind against them and their bullpen, you will lose, just like us, we need to get a lead and let our pitching hold
