Well folks, I'm done and it's been fun.
Back when Kaepernick disrespected the flag and the National Anthem, I was like man I hope someone pounds him into the dirt. So seeing many players of a team I've supported since 75 do it really disgusted me to the point I am done with the NFL.
I've been a Browns fan most of my life, but I'm also a vet, and with knowing many have died for our flag, I choose not to support this team (or any other NFL team for that matter) anymore.
Sports and politics don't mix, and the playing field is not a place for protest but it is used for that because of how large of a spectacle it is.
If they want to protest (in my opinion) they should go to DC and do it like many other organized groups do every day, or spend some time in the Middle East or Korea where they burn our flag on a daily basis and maybe they'll return with a different outlook, that is if they even return at all.

Freaking last bogus play of the KC/Washington game was costly for me. Grrrrr.... ...but, I am sure Punch loved it.

I saw the FG and closed the browser, "oh well, there goes my week 3 win." The fix was in and it got me the point. I could only imagine a Vegas sportsbook as that was happening.

I'm really terrible at this (it's probably because I've never picked games against the spread before and commit about three minutes to each week's selections).

Interesting, I find this post indicative of you possessing a high sports understanding. 3 minutes is plenty of time to dwell on picks against the spread. They're all 50/50 choices. The only people who can win more than 50% of the time against the spread are teams of experts who work 60 hours a week all year-long analyzing and evaluating players, teams, match-ups. And then they may see 1-2 games a week with spreads that are slightly off with a slightly higher than 50% chance of one of the teams beating the spread. You spending only 3 minutes of your time is a good use of your time. Of course I used to agonize over these types of "Pick'ems" for hours.

I literally don't even know what my record is. How do I even know if I am above .500? I believe there have been 64 games played thus far. You have won 28 of those games.

Still 64 games played bro. Only one game was canceled the first week, and Thursday nights game has already been played this week so. You won 28 so your 28-26 picking against the spread.

Your information is correct about games played. However, I believe he is 28 and 36 rather than 28 and 26 overall.
I want to talk about the "juice." Look at all of our totals combined. Think about how much money we would be losing collectively.
Then, think about last night's game. I originally took TB because they were the dog at home, but figured BB would improve the D after such a bad showing in the previous game. The line was 5.5. NE won by 5!
The message is this...............don't mess w/Vegas, boys.
So, when all these dumb ass fans and media types predict won/loss records and do power rankings........ignore that crap and look at what Vegas says. They know what they're doing.

Thanks guys. It was my lucky week, I hit on a 4 team parlay as well. My regret of course is that I didn't go for more than 4 teams.

Kudos. You are one of the few I know who grouse about winning. I win too much, wish I would have gotten more. Eat your vegetables and enjoy this! I think that is incredible.
Continued luck.

Can't help it, I'm greedy.
Seriously though.... I never win on my parlay card (this was the first time in 3 years of playing it) and usually struggle big time picking point spreads. But thanks, I will enjoy my luck while it lasts.
