We need Collins and Garrett to play this week ... I really would like to see our defense at full strength.

I would too. Give us a look at our full defense
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Sucks to hear about Leslie....damn.

I would too. Give us a look at our full defense we were not at our full defence? that makes sense now... we must not of been at our full offense or special teams...
I`m good with Baker... Playoffs is good enough for me.

Danny Shelton is back practicing again. I'd love to get a glimpse at a healthy starting D-line.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

give us Shelton, Collins, Garrett back ... and see if we're any better.
Sadly, the S spots are the problem IMO

MG is probably why I even tune this game on. Can't wait to see him (hopefully.) This is the only reason I'm watching this weekend. If we lose this game I MIGHT listen on the radio while doing something else for the rest of the season. I'm already in free agency/draft mode. Man, Collins still? How long is the concussion protocol??

Collins is still in the concussion protocol, so he didn't practice today. That likely means he is out for the game.

Sadly, the S spots are the problem IMO I think Kindred has been good. We need a cover safety and corner back. I'm hoping Peppers may eventually become that guy but given the multiple positions he played at college, it will take time and we need patience.

Kindred has been good to very good this season. Peppers has been burned like toast far too often, whether because of playing too deep (scheme) or lack of skill/awareness, or just not knowing the defense.

And that's the problem. We have SS's but no FS. Trotting Peppers out there like he's actually a FS is a joke.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

No idea why the I don't appeared above my quoted post, silly phone I agree - Peppers does look a little lost but I'm sticking to a 4 year timeline because if I go week to week I'll just get depressed. We have some young talent on the roster in some areas. We still need more, lots more. Win will cure what ails you. For 7 days.

He can't seem to make sense of this D, especially playing on the lip of the horizon. Not been a factor for us.

Liked Leslie too!
Did we just tell Britt, "Hi! You are hurt!" until we say otherwise. Whoever made that choice should be scrapped IMO. Like Farmer never left. . . .

I'm much more interested in seeing what Peppers looks like in Week 13 than Week 3; and I'll follow that up with being even more interested in seeing what he looks like come Week 3 of 2018. Like so many other things on this team, it isn't/wasn't about the 2017-18 season.

Myles Garrett - DL - Browns
Browns coach Hue Jackson expects first-round DE Myles Garrett (ankle) to be on a "pitch count" in his debut against the Jets in Week 5.
"I think we have to be smart about our expectations of him," said Jackson. Garrett will finally see the field this week after sitting out the first four games with a high-ankle sprain, but it sounds like the Browns are going to exercise some caution by limiting his early workload. Cleveland's defense is getting healthier with Garrett and Danny Shelton (calf) both due back this week.

I doubt Collins will play. Tough to tell about Garrett they will be cautious but I know he is going to want to get out there.
Looks like Britt won't be playing either.

What's up with Collins? Is he going to miss the rest of the season now in concussion protocol? It's beginning to be questionable after making all that cash.

Hue Jackson: Jamie Collins out of concussion protocol but is doubtful for Sunday. WR Kenny Britt also doubtful for Sunday.

The problem is that, even though he is terrible, Britt is probably our best wide receiver.

Jamie Collins - LB - Browns
Browns LB Jamie Collins (concussion) is doubtful for Week 5 against the Jets. Collins has been cleared for some activity but remains in the league's concussion protocol and won't be active on Sunday. This will be his third straight absence.

the aggravating thing to add: all offseason Louis got HEAPS of praise ... and IMO he's no better

I think we should start spreading Devalve and / or Njoku out wide paired with Johnson. Higgins / Williams / Coates - whoever - in the mix also.
Johnson is the only legit playmaker we have at present. He needs 20 touches either running or catching. He's electric.
Here's hoping we see why MG was taken #1. I'm hoping that his mere presence means we can get so much more pressure with just 4.

Is Coates ever going to play? He was pretty good in Pitt, I think he will help a lot.

Just saw Watt is out for the season. IMO, he was once someone who couldn't be contained or controlled but now it seems like he's always, literally always hurt.
Sucks, but is his best playing days behind him already? I mean, it's a legit question.

Sucks, but is his best playing days behind him already? I mean, it's a legit question. Wasn't it last season he only played 3 games due to a back injury? It does beg the question of "can constantly working out, building muscle, etc create an injury issue in and of itself?" Are players stressing their bodies excessively, thus leading to injuries? I know, watt had a broken tibial plateau........I don't know what that is. Broken bones can happen, agreed. Bodies weren't designed to be as big as they currently are in the nfl (d lineman, O lineman, etc) Just a thought.

Looks like sitting out and trying to heal led to more knee problems for Sam Bradford. I mean... is he going to be able to walk at age 35?
I think it might be time to consider retirement, for the sake of his life outside of football. Those knees are shot.
