Yep we payed for his publicity stunt and his planned departure. Murica first.

Shut up and be honest with your fake outrage

I can't believe that Pence walked out on a game where our national treasure Peyton Manning was being honored. It's a disgrace on the Vice Presidency that he refused to honor a man who brought pride and great QB play to the most popular sport in America. Our nation will never be the same.

Having first amendment rights are fine as long as the taxpayers aren't footing the bill for you to exercise them.

Since he told the press core he wouldn't be staying long and for them not to even bother coming into the stadium, from every logical conclusion, it doesn't appear he was there for that in the first place. Everyone knew that 49'er players would be kneeling at the game before he went there. He knew he would leave when they kneeled. So no, I don't believe it was his intent to watch the Manning jersey being retired in the first place.

Your own logical conclusion maybe but he may have said to himself if they kneel, I am walking out. To date they have been kneeling and he suspected they would again.

Only it came at the expense of American tax payers. It was nothing more than a PR stunt that will accomplish nothing more than continuing to divide our nation. Which has been the goal all along.

Cry me a river as your Democrats and Obama wasted Trillions while teaching future generations nothing. Then gave them a trophy for knowing nothing. rolleyes

President Trump and Vice President Pence have shown what Respect for our Flag, Nation, and those who fought for it really means. Our youth are enlightened unless they have Liberal parents who tell them the President is wrong while the crying Multimillionaire Prima Donnas are right.

He ABSOLUTELY WON ... as soon as the nfl implements a rule stating u can't kneel and have to stand for the anthem .... TRUMP WINS ... TRUMP WINS ... TRUMP WINS

I'm sure they will be allowed to stay in the locker room ... and most of the disrespectful POS will take that option ... witch is fine with me ... i could care less what they do ... as long as their NOT CRAPPING ALL OVER MY FLAG!!!!

Actually ... I'll be serious with u for a second as you've earned it over the last month or so of my last visit ...

Actually ... we all win ... saying Trump wins was just a dig ... IMO the reason we all win ... it becomes football again .. this country has enough dividing us, we don't need our outlets being turned into "politically" divisive things unless its us against the stilers fans divisive ...

How do u figure he don't?

did they implement a rule, or are they voting on whether they should or not soon?

thought you would've learned from our mistakes about claiming victory so early. guess that only applies one way, huh?

something tells me you didn't actually read the details.

No .. i read it .... i said it may take a couple weeks ...

There actually just starting discussions next week at the owners meetings ... so it may take a bit longer ...

OUR mistake? .. i didn't make a mistake about the election ... that would be YOUR MISTAKE ... thumbsup

This ones simple sir ... the networks are losing viewers ... witch means less advertising dollars ... witch means bigger losses for the networks ... witch means pressure from the networks NOW (short term ... the long term affect is not such a good tv deal next time ... now ... to be fair and honest .. the nfl ratings have been declining before this crap ... this has been quite the excellerant though ... )

And on and on and on ... get my drift? ..

So this is a much easier predict ... the NFL WILL BE FORCED TO DO SOMETHING EVENTUALLY ... and my boy has nuttin to do with that ...

Capiche?

it's sad that you rather support a regulation suppressing speech of nfl players over protest, yet don't want to help solve the issues they are protesting for in the first place.

so i hope you understand why i disagree with you and others 100% on this.

you're taking the easy way out. but i get it. it's much easier to suppress voices than it is to problem solve. makes sense seeing as though you've made it clear you like the easy way out that doesn't really solve many problems. like your support for the wall, for example.

oh well. seems liberals are the only ones who understand that you can't regulate patriotism.

i actually support the players more now. imo, they are the ones being patriotic by embracing and acting on one of the most precious rights we have as americans.

but you? you and the rest of the conservative ideology value symbols over actual values and beliefs. you value structures and materialism over what it actually means to be American.

40 ended up being right, afterall. Pence taught me a lesson.

you know what he taught me?

that symbols and materialism matters over actual action and values. that conservatives will put their lives on the line for a piece of cloth (national flag, confederate flag, nazi flag) over actual American lives. That the right to protest doesn't actually apply to all americans, only the ones that look like him.

I want to thank you and the rest of the Trump supporters. I am now further left leaning than ever before because of conservative ideology.

the bill of rights only apply to those who display fake patriotism, not ACTUAL patriotism.

Well if you can prevent people from exercising their freedoms, everyone wins, right? I mean as long as they do it when people say, where people say, the way people say you should, all is good, right?

Ok then, why don't you march into work, gather some coworkers together and hold a sit-in, crying out about whatever you are crying about that day.
Then we will see how your right to free speech at the workplace works out. rofl

Also make sure to do it in front of thousands of paying customers, many of whom are strongly opposed to the protest.

So far, the NFL owners have permitted it. That's what has happened so far for them. Each employer has the right to allow or not allow such things. What my employer would do verses what their employer has done is a moot point.

Now I have said all along that the NFL owners have every right to stop this if they wish to. We all know once Trump decided to inject himself in private business his base would get all riled up. We knew that at some point it would impact the bottom line. You all scream about the free market and government staying out of private business, right up until you decide not to. lol

“Conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in the National Football League.” is a perfect example of how they could stop this if they wished. What is being done now is that people have decided to impose their will on the owners to impose this type of thing, and that's within their rights to. You have the same right to be offended as everyone else does.

But don't sit here and claim it's liberal tears or that liberals need a safe space now that you're guilty of the same thing. You're offended and playing the snowflake because of it. Pot meet kettle.

i still find it hilarious that people actually think players are disrespecting the military.

it just shows that people aren't aware of American history and how little that rhetoric you guys say actually mean.

especially since black servicemen throughout history have been massively disrespected by the same demographic that claims to respect the military in the first place.
