Or are u suggesting the nfl continues to let the protest continue while they lose more and more fans and money by the week ...
Yes. The National dialogue about race and oppression is far more important than football or people's weekend entertainment or greed and money.

German soccer team kneels before match in solidarity with NFL protests https://sports.yahoo.com/german-soccer-team-kneels-match-solidarity-nfl-protests-151641076.htmlInternational recognition!! Thanks German soccer players! The world understand what these players are doing. Everyone except the brainwashed ignorant American conservatives!!!

I never said they did. That would be a very entitled attitude, which is what many of you have if you are annoyed that the protests are "ruining football".

No. Idiot liberals think the players somehow have a right to protest on private property while at work. The working world laughs at you because we know better. So if you want to have a protest, suck it up and do it on your own dime. Do it in your own community where it actually matters. The nfl doesnt owe you squat.

Except like I already told you, they will end it when it no longer benefits them. The nfl is here to run a business, and that business is about football. It is not about political protests. So expect your pity party to go bye bye in the near future.

You mean just like Bob Dylan and Joan Baez did at various white folk festivals in the early and mid-60s? Or, Country Joe McDonald at Woodstock in front of 500k? Or the Jefferson Airplane on the rooftop in NYC? Or, Public Enemy on MTV? Or, Rage Against The Machine (who you said you used to listen to "back in the day") at Lollapalooza? Yep, they were all protesting "at work" on a public stage. As were Tommie Smith and John Carlos in the '68 Olympics. As was Muhammed Ali in various public interviews. So...tell me the difference between all of the above and the NFL? I am sure you will try but, you can't because there is NO difference.

And you are right, the nfl doesnt owe me anything, however they are actively trying to appeal to me and sell me something. They will do whatever it takes keep up sales. Including getting rid of snowflake behavior from players.
Because thats what they do. Football.

Are you capable of understanding that music bands and sports businesses are two different things? Are you unfamiliar of what the concept of sports entertainment even is? I will give you a clue, it is about sports. But by all means, keep comparing apples to oranges.

AND...I knew you wouldn't be able to grasp the analogy. Tell me how entertainment on a music stage is any different than in a sports coliseum? People still pay to see them all perform. I am sure there are those who will say they don't want to go to a concert and hear about politics. There is no difference and you just showed your inability to comprehend the comparison. I hope they keep up the protest and I hope it spreads into the NBA.

We will find out soon enough who is correct.
As of now they haven’t ended anything.
And you’re still watching.

So you dont understand the difference between music and sports? Can you understand that music is a personal expression of experience and ideas, and sports is effing sports. People tune into sports to see a competition, they do not tune in to see some liberal tears pansies protesting.
Can you understand that nfl is all about providing the ultimate sports experience? They do not care about your pity party, and allow it only because it is making them relevant again in a sinking market. However they are now looking at making against it against the rules, because its turned bad for business.
Oh boohoo, guess you'll have to have your pity party on your own dime.

And again you continue to show your inability to see the comparison.
And, as Swish said....you will still tune in on Sundays to watch and you will keep giving them your viewership and your $ while posting your rage on an internet forum. We know how it all works.
Enjoy the game tomorrow, Eve!

A meeting to discuss whether to end it or allow it.

Watching is one thing.
The bar makes more money off me then the nfl does.
But I wont be buying a new jersey to replace my old Cribbs jersey, nor will I buy any tickets and go watch the game.
So yes, it hurts them.

But, you just said you are "speaking out against it" (on an internet forum) as you continue to make excuses for watching and giving them your money (when you watch you inadvertently give them your money as viewership all translates to $$). So, you might actually be closer to what you accuse others of being than you realize.

So yes, it hurts them. Not only are you still watching but, going to the bar, paying the bar $$ for your drinks that the bar then uses to help pay for the NFL channels they are pulling from a satellite or cable feed, which ultimately pays the NFL as they own the feed. So, you are not hurting them. You are still 100% supporting them. Your "speaking out against it" argument is a very transparent veil that only you can't seem to see through.

Some are, no doubt. The players were speaking with their time and money for a while now. A lot of players were speaking with their time just by volunteering through he nfl programs. A lot have donated to different charities, both for diseases and causes they believe in. Hell, the browns players just did a ride along with the cops. But this topic is about what fans are doing, the ones who are against the protest anyway, in response to the players kneeling. Eve has done everything but the one thing that matters: not watch. There was a ton of fans who claimed they were gonna stop watching or supporting the nfl with merchandise. I put them in the same basket with the Hollywood losers who claimed they were moving to Canada if trump won.

Its not really for you to decide if I watch or not.
If I didnt support my local businesses, I would watch on an illegal stream.
Tell me how that helps the nfl.

Tell me how that helps the nfl. But like you said, you are supporting your local business if they are playing the games at said business. The hypothetical doesn’t work seeing as you don’t do it in the first place. You had to pull something out of your ass just to make a hypothetical point. Let me know what you think of Garrett after the game tomorrow.
