I put something like this up last year and it seemed to work out well. Now remember, this is just to post the articles about the guys signing and to update the list. I'd say let's keep discussion to a minimum. Browns signings will probably get their own separate posts.
Since I don't know how to post so that there are tabs and spaces, I'd say let's put the teams with signings in bold and italics so they can be easily seen. And make sure before you add someone, you post the article snippet with the link talking about the contract length, etc.
# Team Player Contract Length 1 Oakland: Russell, JaMarcus QB 2 Detroit: Johnson, Calvin WR 3 Cleveland: Thomas, Joe OT 4 Tampa Bay: Adams, Gaines DE 5 Arizona: Brown, Levi OT 6 Washington: Landry, LaRon FS 7 Minnesota: Peterson, Adrian RB 8 Atlanta (from Houston): Anderson, Jamaal DE 9 Miami: Ginn Jr., Ted WR 10 Houston (from Atlanta): Okoye, Amobi DT 11 San Francisco: Willis, Patrick ILB 12 Buffalo: Lynch, Marshawn RB 13 St. Louis: Carriker, Adam DE 14 N.Y. Jets (from Carolina): Revis, Darrelle CB 15 Pittsburgh: Timmons, Lawrence OLB 16 Green Bay: Harrell, Justin DT 17 Denver (from Jacksonville): Moss, Jarvis DE 18 Cincinnati: Hall, Leon CB 19 Tennessee: Griffin, Michael FS 20 N.Y. Giants: Ross, Aaron CB 21 Jacksonville (from Denver): Nelson, Reggie FS 22 Cleveland (from Dallas): Quinn, Brady QB 23 Kansas City: Bowe, Dwayne WR 24 New England (from Seattle): Meriweather, Brandon FS 25 Carolina (from N.Y. Jets): Beason, Jon OLB 26 Dallas (from Philadelphia): Spencer, Anthony DE 27 New Orleans: Meachem, Robert WR 28 San Francisco (from New England): Staley, Joe OT 5 years 29 Baltimore: Grubbs, Ben G 30 San Diego: Davis, Craig WR 31 Chicago: Olsen, Greg TE 5 years 32 Indianapolis: Gonzalez, Anthony WR

Because I love you guys I'll give you my prediction for last picks to sign...
19 Tennessee: Griffin, Michael FS - Drafted as a S, but the team immediately moved him to CB. CB's make way more scratch
15 Pittsburgh: Timmons, Lawrence OLB - Rosenhaus guy
8 Atlanta (from Houston): Anderson, Jamaal DE - The number 8 pick last year was Whitner, and if I remember he got a huge contract
4 Tampa Bay: Adams, Gaines DE - It's a screwed up slot because of Philip Rivers, Ced Benson

No, the refs deleted all the comments that had nothing to do with first round signings. Nothing's happening now, but it'll be a nice thread to have when the signings start pouring in...which may not be for a while!

I am predicting a signing or two to go down today.
The refs deleted all the nonsense posts and will most likely do so again soon, or at least when the contracts start getting signed.

I saw on ESPN that the Browns Phil Savage doesn't expect Wright/Thomas/Quinn to be in camp on time.
I don't have a link obviously but I wonder if anyone else saw it.

And I don't believe Savage said that about them being in camp on time. He just said he doesn't believe they'll be in rookie orientation on time. I'd rather they didn't miss anything, but if they're going to miss something, I'd rather it be that.

Quick Reply
Personally I wish the NFL would fine holdouts 100K for every day past the start of TC and agents getting fined 500K
or
The NFL comes up with a rookie contract that can be adjusted the 2nd yr If they try holding out past the start of TC [2nd yr] then the rookie contract remains in effect.
I HATE HOLDOUTS. It hurts the sport and the teams.

In an open market like the NFL, you can't penalize guy for not agreeing to terms. Plus the NFLPA would walk out before they let the league do that to them.

DO you have any idea how much money 500k is?
You are going to fine someone 500,000 dollars because they cant agree on a contract? If I were the Browns I would offer the minimum contract because they have to sign because they get fined 500,000 dollars every time they don't sign...
Think before you speak.

IMO we should match Timmons' deal for Quinn, I've been saying top 15 money is a perfect compromise. No higher.

Finally, something to actually report in this thread! Ref, maybe you can get rid of all the superfluous stuff (except Hack's link about Timmons). Hopefully they'll start pouring in now.
