Ted-dy! Ted-dy! Ted-dy!

There have been three players I have really, really pimped in regards to the Browns drafting them.

Joe Thomas, Teddy Bridgewater, and Myles Garrett.

He is a great kid who is very smart. And much like Watson, he knows how to win. I think Teddy is more accurate than Watson and Watson is a better runner, but they have similar qualities in regards to character, intelligence, and doing what it takes to win.

Teddy Bridgewater - QB - Vikings

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Vikings will activate Teddy Bridgewater (knee) off the PUP list within the next two weeks.

Cleared to practice on Monday, Rapoport reports Minnesota expects Bridgewater to play this season. Once activated, the Vikings will have a three-week practice window to decide whether to place Bridgewater on the active roster or stash him on the PUP the rest of the season. It may not be before the bye in Week 9, but it is looking more and more likely Bridgewater will make starts this season.

I was one of the folks that wanted Bridgewater.. Maybe we got lucky that we didn't get him.

I hope he does too. He always reminded me of Sam Bradford, not 100% in the way he plays but you just felt like he could be pretty good if he could just stay healthy and stay on the field.. I hope he is able to do that.

I have no love for Teddy after he refused to play for the Browns and then boasted post-draft that he had informed his manager that he didn't want to be in Cleveland.

Hope the knee snaps again. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving individual.

He had to start practicing this date or lose that option to come back...now he has like 6 weeks to get on the roster. Vikings now is a team needing a QB.

Will he be available as a FA next year.
It will be interesting if Teddy,
Garafalo, Cousins, Luck...I would Love to get Luck here. We got the OL for him to suceed. It would give us instant credibility. Yes, he is damaged goods which I predicted after they took him then did nothing to protect him. I hope he is still a Browns fan. We wiuld save our picks...

My bile still rises when I think about passing on Teddy & Carr (I wanted Carr) and taking Maziel.

Cleared for practice. I'll take a one-legged Teddy over what we're fielding now. tongue

Lol!

Just put him out there! I'll have to double check the rule book, but I don't recall anything about wheel chairs not being allowed on the field!

FYI ...

Teddy Bridgewater - QB - Vikings

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer confirmed he doesn't expect Teddy Bridgewater (knee) to play this week.

"We still don’t know where it’s going to go, where that’s going to lead," said Zimmer. "Everybody is excited about Teddy being back, but he’s got a ways to go. He’s probably not going to play this week, so we need to put the brakes on things a little." Bridgewater drew raves from teammates in his first practice since 2015. He's been working in with the first-team offense, but Bridgewater is at least a week away from returning. Case Keenum remains on track to start against Baltimore.

The fact that the guy is even practicing says so much about not only his drive, but also how far in medical sciences our society has gone.

Really happy he’s getting back.

Welcome back Ted!

That's just fantastic for him! Man, that was thought to be a potentially career ending injury. I'm glad to see that he has managed to make it back, and well ahead of schedule as well.

They have a team that can contend for the Championship...glad the Vikings get their QB back. Case Keenum maybe good enough to beat us but not Playoff teams!

No one wanted the Browns to draft Teddy more than me. With that said, while I am happy he is recovering, I am not sure if he is the same guy. I saw a clip of him throwing a pass w/no rush, and tab, that knee looked bad. Real bad. It wasn't even aligned properly.

I hope he makes a full recovery, but I think it's a damn shame that such a devastating injury happened to such a great person.

You think cause of the urgency of their shot at playoffs...they are bringing him back too soon?

I hope he doesn't come back too soon and ruin his career ala RG3.

Knees All I remember is McGahee I thought he was done and he came back also Gore had a bad knee injury and surprised me with his career.

Just hope the kid is OK...yeah

him and Watson I got thrown off by the Draft Experts as I thought both would have been Overall #1 picks.

No, I don't think they are rushing him back because of the playoffs.

You know I'm not good on the roster/financial side of football, but I think they had to activate him at some point or risk either losing him or sending him to IR for the rest of the year. I'm not sure about that, but some of the guys on here really know their stuff when it comes to such matters.

And I could be wrong about the knee. But, my son and I were watching him [this was a month or two ago] and we both cringed. The damn knee was protruding to the side when he went to throw.

I don't know.....maybe it's healed a lot. That just looked freaky to me.

I do hope the kid comes back. He really is a great kid.

Bridgewater was on the PUP list at the start of the regular season, he coudn't play or practice for the first six weeks.
After that, The Vikings would have a five-week window to allow Bridgewater to resume practicing.

When he returns to practice, there would be a three-week window to decide whether to activate him or have him go on injured reserve for the remainder of the season.

Teddy Bridgewater - QB - Vikings

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports Teddy Bridgewater is "throwing better than he was" before his knee injury.

Bridgewater has been setback-free over the last two weeks of practice. He’s expected to be active Sunday, but won’t start after a 15-month layoff. It’s a conservative move with Bridgewater close to fully healthy. The Vikings have four straight wins but are a limited offense with Case Keenum — a game-managing journeyman on an expiring deal. It’s possible Bridgewater regains his starting role in Week 11.

Wow! That is amazing!

I wish I could see a vid of him throwing.

I love that kid and was hoping we would draft him so bad.
