I wonder how many heads would explode if a black conservative posted on the boards?

Most often they would post things some of the white folks post. I wonder if they would be called Nazi's and White Supremacists? How fast before they were labeled Uncle Toms? I wonder if those who rant about their frustrations of how white people 'just don't get it' would be more tolerant, patient, and thoughtful if the skin color of the speaker was different?

I'm not even interested in seeing that for validation of my own opinons. I just think watching the back and forth could be interesting and very telling.

Myself, I don't read his posts that way. I think people read them in the "tone" of voice they want to.

I think most people read the content of the character of his posts, and don't focus so much on the color of his language.

A military veteran glowingly featured by Fox News earlier this month for his pro-Trump artwork and his record as a “war hero” admitted Thursday to lying about his military service. John Garofalo, 72, was featured in a Bryan Llenas report as having served seven years as a Navy SEAL, receiving 22 commendations, including two Purple Hearts, and having been listed twice as missing in action during Vietnam. Garofalo, who personally carved a presidential seal to gift President Trump, is a “tough, tough man,” Llenas said, after calling him a “hero” during an interview. Fox News anchor Eric Shawn later remarked: “God bless John Garofalo. We certainly hope maybe the president is listening.” However, when the Navy Times reached out to Garofalo on Thursday, he confessed to having lied about his military service. “What I did I’m ashamed of, and I didn’t mean to cause so much disgrace to the SEALs,” he told the Times. Fox News has since removed the video, which went viral on Facebook, and issued a statement apologizing for the error.

I don't see Swish's posts as "rants" nor do I read his tone as "angry". Swish is actually one of the few who talks sense in this political forum. The problem is most in here refuse to see from another perspective and most in here find talk about race and privilege too "uncomfortable" so they become defensive rather than choosing to listen. However, the more we talk and the more we listen to one another the sooner we will get to solving many of our problems.

I applaud Swish for his tireless effort to stay engaged in this forum.

Swish is a good poster. He is a smart guy. When he isnt being an angry black man and posting emotionally. Or getting into trolling with me.

He does have an angry tone.
