http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/news/arti...3b-55aeaa0c894e Hue is like a little kid in the candy store deciding what one he wants... but unlike that scenario, all the candy taste like crap! So glad I'm mind made up that I'm not watching Cleveland football games anymore this season. I'll catch how crappy this kid is (again) come Sunday on here and cleveland.com.

I’ll watch every snap. Just like I have since 1999. Call me a masochist but I’m a fan of my team. My hope is Kiser starts putting his arm talent to use. If not I’ll watch Garrett continue to inspire fear in opposing QBs. I’ll find the silver lining. I won’t let a loss, if that’s truly what’s coming, ruin my day. Never have, never will.
Hogan is not the future. Period. Kiser has a chance. No matter how small some may think it is, he has a chance. I figured this team would win about 3 games. If we only win one, or none, it won’t be much different than three. I guess I’m a game behind my prediction as I figured we’d beat the Jets. Which statistically in many ways we did. But, meh, lost no sleep. At this point in our season/schedule we’re picking first in the draft. To me that’s clear.
Go Kiser. Go Browns.

Hue can only play what the FO gives him and they screw up every draft. I'm hoping Hue comes out of this smelling like a rose but as usual my skepticism is he'll be dumped soon and the rebuilding will start over once again. Except the special teams coach of course.

Show me some changes in the passing game. Do not give him a check down for two yards. Skip some outs and sidelines. Hue really needs to analyze a passing attack that helps the D as much as ours has. Our games should be practice for Kizer that force him to improve by giving him fewer options. JMO. Kick him right in the learning curve.
This would be a great week for Peppers to play. Swell. Britt might as well.

Right call. We wanted to see Hogan. We got that, and he didnt take advantage of the opportunity.

Go Kiser. Go Browns. Jimmy Haslam loves fans like you. He knows there are a lot of fans like you. Jimmy likes you guys almost as much as money. Of course, these types of fans and lining Haslam's pockets w/money are related.

Of course, these types of fans and lining Haslam's pockets w/money are related. Wow. You’re assuming a fair amount. I live in a city 2500 miles from home. I don’t go to games. I own two Browns hats. One I bought in ‘99. One I won at a Brownsbacker raffle a decade or so back. That’s my gear. Jimmy has not made any money off of me. That said I’m a fan of the NFL. I have the Season Ticket, which all owners I’m sure get a taste of. I choose to watch the Browns because they’re my team. They tie me to my roots. To where I come from. It’s one of the few things outside of my family that resonates with me like that. Jimmy or no Jimmy. I’m no lemming. I’m a fan. Not a super fan. But no other team in the league makes me feel the way I feel when I watch the Browns. So I’m going to watch them. I keep an eye on a lot of games every Sunday. But I watch my team. The added bonus of the Season Ticket is I’m not forced into watching the Seahawks game every Sunday after the Browns play. So Jimmy may love fans like me but oh well. I’m not not watching. I experienced Sunday’s in the falls without the Browns. Those were three long years. Won’t go back.

I didn't mean it to be personal, Port. LOL.......seriously.
I was just saying that Haslam loves fans who don't care about the product on the field and will remain loyal no matter what. It was a general statement and not intended to be personal at all. However, I can see how you might be offended.
I'm sorry. No offense.

Literally the only reason I go to the bar to watch this team is the "gameday sports bar experience". I like talking to all the random people, and hearing them cheer/boo when their team does good/sucks.

I'm pretty much the same way. I watch every down of every game. I'm not shy about pointing out what I believe are the weaknesses of our team. I'm not shy about going toe to toe with posters that I feel overrate some of our players. The reason I do that is because when you're 0-6 anyone who feels the team is on the right path isn't being objective IMO
I want the team to improve and to me, there's obvious ways to make that happen. But as a fan, I'm a staunch supporter of my team. I've been a Browns fan for 50+ years. Nothing is going to change that. Living in Nashville, the only way to watch my Browns is via the NFL Sunday Ticket.
Sometimes it's painful to watch every down. Sometimes it's deflating to support a team that seems so inept. But with my Browns, it's tradition and a sense of loyalty. It's a family tradition. It goes way beyond simply being a fan.
So while we disagree quite often about our beloved team, our hearts are in the same place.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I'm sorry. No offense. I do care about the product but I also understand I have no control over the product on the field. Yes I can boycott the team but that’d make me sadder than watching the Browns lose. It’s a lose lose situation. Man we suck. GO BROWNS!! Lol

I watch every game, snap too (sigh). I wish I didn't but by the time Sunday rolls round I'm looking forward again. I am considering not paying a small fortune to go to London for the vikes game though.

I was offered 4 tickets (Free) to go to the Titans game, had they offered them last week I would have considered it but to little time to get someone to preach in my place .. I don't know whether that makes me happy or sad ...

If you can make arrangements or another game, just lift up the couch cushions for loose change.

Free, even though it's virtually impossible to pass up, isn't worth the time when you want to leave after you finish your first $10 dollar small dixie cup of beer. ... And drobs, I feel ya man. The losing and the mistakes and just everything has been wearing on me as of recently. Not watching and etc has turned into a coping mechanism or something. It won't be long before I'm back watching them and etc and I don't dog ANYONE, AT ALL, for tuning in and even getting excited. I just need a breather from our team.

DeShone Kizer called a players-only offensive meeting Friday and addressed the unit Updated on October 20, 2017 at 6:25 PM Posted on October 20, 2017 at 5:57 PM By Mary Kay Cabot, cleveland.com BEREA, Ohio -- In his first game back from his one-week benching, Browns quarterback DeShone Kizer stepped up Friday and called a players-only offensive meeting in preparation for Sunday's game against the Titans. "As I said earlier this week, it's about doing more, and that's just a small thing that we can add into the week,'' Kizer told cleveland.com. "It's something that I think can allow us to just open up the communication line and make sure they understand what I'm thinking and make sure I understand what they're thinking.'' Kizer said with the 0-6 Browns losing three of their games by only three points, any little thing might help. "Maybe that's the separator in a game where we were able to discuss something on Friday that we hadn't discussed all week that can allow them to get one extra step on a defender that we can be able to complete some passes,'' he said. Kizer came up with the idea this week when thinking of ways he could step up as a leader of the team. "After sitting last week, it was something I thought we'd benefit from,'' he said. "Yesterday there was a couple of things I wasn't able to meet with them about individually, so if I figure if I can bring them all together and have them all listen to it at the same time, it would be all right.'' Kizer determined that his teammates should hear some things from him instead of just the coaches. "It's just making sure that we can discuss the necessary things that go into completing passes, things we talk about every week, just making sure it's coming from me,'' he said. "It's a new perspective for some of these guys who are obviously new to this program and this organization. Maybe it sits a little better coming from me so we have a little more confidence going into Sunday.'' Related: Kizer returns from benching that 'sparked my competitive juices' Kizer said it's customary for several players to speak on Friday during a captain's meeting, but during the special offensive meeting that he called, "I was the only guy.'' Teammates such as fellow rookie David Njoku said they were happy that Kizer took the initiative. "It's not easy especially in our position where we are right now,'' the tight end said. "It's shows his courage and his maturity. To come into an NFL locker room and call a meeting, it's big-time and I'm excited. He's ready to turn this around and I'm 100 percent fully behind him.'' Njoku said Kizer handled the benching extremely well, and it inspired him to take on more of a leadership role. "He watched and learned from a different point and I think it made him better,'' said Njoku. "A bunch of people would give up and say 'OK, let's work for next year.' But he's focused on the right now and that's what matters for us, and we really appreciate that.'' He said Kizer talked for about 10-15 minutes and it made an impact on his teammates. "Kizer is a beast,'' Njoku said. "I tell everybody that because I truly believe that and he shows it. He's maturing every day, and obviously being a rookie, quarterback is probably one of the hardest things you can do. He's taking big, big steps and I'm really excited to see how he progresses.'' Njoku said the offense emerged from the meeting "closer as an offense, as a group. I think we're all on the same page a little more, so I think it will be a fun game for us.'' Fullback Dan Vitale also said Kizer showed a lot by putting himself out there. "After he spent a week where he watched from the sidelines and now that he's back in, it gave him a chance to kind of look back and kind of reflect on mistakes he's made or mistakes we've made as an entire offense,'' said Vitale. "He talked about how we're going to go about fixing that and what we can do for him to help him, and how he's going to try and help us.'' A second-year pro, Vitale said it spoke to Kizer's quick development this season. "I just saw a lot of growth in him just as a professional from that aspect, which is obviously very good to see and very exciting to see from a kid who's so young,'' said Vitale. Like Njoku, Vitale said Kizer sent a strong message to the team by the way he handled his benching. "He took it as an opportunity to learn to make some changes and not just sit there and pout,'' said Vitale. Vitale said the speech made him want to dig even a little deep on Sunday against the Titans to support Kizer and end the winless streak. "Obviously we haven't had the success we've wanted here, but this is that point now where it's now or never," he said. "When you've got a kid who's as young as him who wants to succeed as bad as he does, it's exciting for all of us and gets us all going.'' http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2017/10/deshone_kizer_called_a_players.html

Well said, Portland! Mowing Sunday afternoons with anger, emptiness, and indifference to NFL football and Art Modell's lies and worse. Never want to be there again. I hate losing. This group stinks plenty, but it bothers some of them.Play on! Go, Browns.

This team.... oh it's frustrating. We win Sunday, 26-19.
I can't get NFL ticket this year because of some BS streaming rights in Canada, but I'll follow the game as best I can.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
