I'm calling the coach out. Design some freaking plays that work. Get the ball to TE's & receivers over the middle. Put some plays in that are in the 7-15 yard range. Stop with the routes that take four seconds to develop but only go for three yards. Every other pass doesn't have to be a bomb down the sideline. Hue needs to drop the ego, get his $#!% together and institute a plan that allows his "talent" to succeed. We may be lacking in talent, but he sure ain't doing them any favors by highlighting their weaknesses.

I saw the graph that showed a lack of throwing in the middle. That is concerning, considering Njoku and DeValve, some of our better receiving options, could be leveraged there. No doubt. However, I still think Kizer has not been doing well seeing the field. Not too mention it seems the game hasn't slowed down for him either. It's been BAD, as far as I'm concerned. That said, I think that gives Hue a break because we have no idea what has been called but we've seen Kizer fail time and time again getting the ball out and being accurate.

Funny. You do have a point. But how about they don't do that? That's on Hue too. Show them how to be more accurate, Coach.

I'm saying his completion percentage might go up if he's not constantly throwing to the sidelines. Comeback routes, slants, and crossing routs put the receivers in front of the QB, running away from defenders. Njoku, for example, big, athletic, should be able to work the middle well. The WRs get a better look at the ball. Kizer has to make the throws, absolutely. And the receivers have to catch them.

Coates has reported 4.36 speed. Get him deep a few times and get the Safties attention. Options open up...

I love a good deep pass. I think there are excellent times to throw them. First play of the game. After pounding the rock and pulling the D up. Second and short. When you've established play action because the run game is working. When the defense is lulled into letting a guy slip deep. It's no surprise with Hue. You expect it all the time. That or a sideline pass.

I just wonder what the heck they work on during practice.

I dislike the bomb on the first play of any series, but especially the first play of the game. It is low percentage and leads us (seemingly) to 3rd and long. As far as "practice", probably 40 yd wind sprints...lol
