Oh boy .... more good news ... *L* ..

Kenny Britt - WR - Browns

Appearing on Good Morning Football Saturday, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports both Kenny Britt and Corey Coleman were sent home to Cleveland from Houston ahead of the Week 6 game against the Texans for missing curfew.

Neither player was going to be active, as Britt was out with knee and groin injuries and Coleman remains sidelined with a broken hand, but it's still not a good look. Britt has been a total disaster as a free-agent pickup, loafing around on the field when he's healthy and doing whatever he wants off it. Coleman has yet to live up to his first-round status, and former bust Britt probably isn't someone the Browns want Coleman running around with off the field. Britt may very well be a one-and-done disappointment in Cleveland as a cut candidate next spring.

Oh good Lord. More good news.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I don't get Britt. Looks like we wanted a last signing bonus...I'd cut him now.

The fact we didn’t cut him for this after hows he looked since he got here ... thats a sign of just how bad the talent at the WR position is ...

I said the day we signed him ... CONTACT YEAR HERO ... he underachieved since day 1 ... had BY FAR the best year of his career in his contract year ....

Buyer beware ... he was a BUM and reverted back to form ....

hated the Britt signing back in March, and hate it WAY worse right now. What a loser

If i recall correctly .. Bowe had a few really good years and a few decent years before he got here ... IMO he was a case of DIMINISHING SKILLS ... i was miffed when we signed him too .. it was like our FO hadn’t watched him in a year or two as he had clearly declined ... *L*

Britt on the other hand ... hes just a BUM!!!

I agree with the paycheck comment on Britt .. Bowe stink here, but he’d been on the decline over the last year or two ... he had a HORRIBLE year the year before we signed him if i’m Remembering correctly ..

They went against their model on older players and got what they likely have tons of "do nots, nos, don't" material on with Britt.

Agreed. I had some friends who met Bowe following an open practice and they said he was a riot. Really funny, really laid back. He just wasn't what he once was and had been in decline for a year or two.

Britt, however, he's coming off a career year. He signed a $32M long-term contract. He spoke about being the guy, and being a leader for our young recievers.

Now we's loafing around and missing curfew? At this stage, calling him Dwayne Bowe might actually be an insult to Dwayne Bowe. Wow. That's a sentence I never imagined I'd write.

I wish we'd cut Kenny Britt immediately. At this stage, it is insanity. I'm not even mad at the front office: It seems Britt is making an active effort to not give a s#!t. There is no reason he should be performing the way he is nor acting the way he is.

I'm always weary of signing guys coming off career years (especially when their careers to that point were disappointments)

People will remember the 2016 draft as the year we passed on Carson Wentz, and ended up with Corey Coleman. It could also be remembered as the year we took Corey Coleman about 20 picks before Michael Thomas went to the Saints in the 2nd round. Decisions like these are why we can't have nice things. I'm sure they happen to most teams every now and then, but come on, not every year.

The Browns have been Dwayne Bowed......again.

The right move is to cut Britt. Send a message of accountability. The Browns will likely instead start him on Sunday.

looking at the WRs we've had a shot at the past 3-4 drafts ... and then looking at the ones we have ... is a recipe for depression

We’re paying him 10.5 million for this year whether he’s on the team or not. Unless there is someone better to put in his roster spot we may as well keep him.

That much may be fact. Everything else afterward is subjective opinionated and not going to help much.

Nothing to see here! This should be a Non Story!

Britt is what Britt is, it's easy to see.
Coleman: same thing.

If they were sent home, it's different than if they left on their own; otherwise, I see no new information to get from the story.

KEEP THE TEAM TOGETHER!

None of these guys can individually effect the outcome of the games as much as a coach, if the coach continues a bad course; because they are only in control of their own roles, while the coaches role is over the whole team, and whole game.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

But the analytics said...

This is what happens when you have incompetent people in your organization...starting with THE OWNER.

Browns are going NOWHERE until ownership changes.

Again, I respectfully say...WHAT THE HELL DID CLEVELAND EVER DO TO DESERVE THIS?

Kenny Britt - WR - Browns

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Kenny Britt is in danger of getting cut.
Britt is "on thin ice" after being sent home for missing curfew last week. He's expected to play Sunday, but can't afford another slip up. Britt has been a huge disappointment, struggling with injuries and catching just eight passes in the four games he's been active. The Browns wouldn't save any money from releasing Britt.

Nice signature "beast".

I know I never remember any successful, "good" NFL team that based their whole calendar year, giving a rip about the next years' draft.

When you fire a FO time and time again (except for Banner, he sucked) that's what happens.

Why? Because Analytics? It goes far beyond that.

Banner had a proven track record of success. The only thing that I can maybe understand is if a person didn't like his personality.

Pretty decent if Holmgren would have stopped Leeroy Jenkins-ing the first round of the NFL draft. That man may have been as slow as a walrus, but boy, did he have the mentality of a kamikaze pilot.
