Bad news ...

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Colts first-round FS Malik Hooker is done for the season with a torn ACL and MCL suffered Week 7 against the Jaguars.

Brutal. The 15th overall pick in April's draft, Hooker had to be carted off the field Sunday, suggesting something serious like this was coming down the chute. An absolute ballhawk on the back end, Hooker picked off three passed his first six games before going down early in Week 7. Darius Butler and T.J. Green are going to have to fill in the rest of the way. Hooker should be ready by next year's training camp. The Colts are expected to get SS Clayton Geathers (neck, PUP) back soon.

Sark has been horrible. It doesn't help that the guy before him was brilliant and had guys running wide open on the regular.

The Pats dominated Atlanta. The Falcons are a shell of themselves offensively, which is mostly because Shanny is gone IMO. It's not even close to the same offense.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Yet Shanny is matching us at 0-7 in San Francisco and they got mauled by Dallas yesterday.

Us and SF are pretty close in talent IMO. They tore it down too. They'd beat us, but it'd be close.

I think I felt about Shanny almost how you feel about Williams.

Liked him as an offensive mind, but he just rubbed me wrong.

Glad the Pats thumped and embarrassed Atlanta...screw Mack and Gabriel...lol laugh

Shanny is/was a good Coordinator it was his personality that was bad and couldn't play well with others persona. You don't have talent you will not look good. Shanny didn't look good vs the Cowboys that is for sure.

Guess the Giants just had one game in them for the year...
lol how do you look so good and then that bad.

Didn't know why it took TV so long to switch to the camera shots that didn't have the fog interference in that Pats/Falcon game.

Easier to play well on a team that plays well. Bademosi did his job...similar to how he did here...excellent special teams and willing to be called on.

I don't see anyone but Mack becoming an excellent ball player after leaving us.

Haden is playing better as he has healed. I too was not happy with the release. But not going to cry over spilled milk.

Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off!

Man, that story before the Philly/Wash game about the kid who had cancer and Wentz was about as heart-breaking as it gets.

What a damn shame, but props to Wentz for being a great guy.

Probably. It's heartbreaking though, Diam. It made me cry. For real.

But yeah, Wentz is a class guy. There was another player from Philly that stepped it up, too. And the Eagle organization showed a lot of class.

About the game: I hate this officiating crew. They call too many damn penalties. It's like he wants to get on camera.

Wentz just threw an interception, quick pull him and put in a different scrub. Oh wait, wrong team.

Oh, and there was another good segment about Howie Long's sons doing a ton of charity work. I didn't catch it all, but I believe I heard that Myles Garrett was part of the group trying to get people water sources in Africa. Pretty classy.

I agree w/Diam that it would be nice to hear more of these kind of stories rather than all the negative crap.

I think that was hit a big play, draw a PI, or get picked which is still better than a punt type of decision.

Can you guys please not turn this into another bash Hue thread? It's about "Other games." Thanks.

Myles Garett was indeed involved along with another player in addition to Long in the effort to provide clean drinking water to foreign villages.

The refs doing their best to make this game nearly unwatchable with the amount of penalties.

This will end up being a nearly 4hr game at this rate.

Wentz is going to get hurt if they don't protect him better. The LT is looking terrible.

Whole left side is failing. I heard them say they tried three different people at LG too, so appears an exploit being taken advantage of.

The weekly reminder, courtesy of Sean and Jon, that the Browns inexplicably botched passing on Wentz.

Did u just see that TD to Ertz ...

Ertz started in motion ... Wentz said no ....

I wonder if Ertz was messing up or if depending on what they saw they had that route called knowing Smith was clearing it out ...

I think i’m Reading too much into it ...

What do u think?
