http://www.espn.com/blog/cleveland/post/...-mount-rushmore3. Nit Britt: One of the reasons owner Jimmy Haslam blew up the Ray Farmer-Mike Pettine regime was because of the mistrust that ensued between the offices of GM and head coach. Their feud, instigated by Farmer’s in-game texting that undermined the coaches and earned him a four-game NFL suspension, intensified over a tug of war involving free agent bust receiver Dwayne Bowe. Farmer had control over the roster and wouldn’t release the unproductive Bowe, and Pettine had control over the game-day decisions and wouldn’t play Bowe. A similar scenario is unfolding between Sashi Brown and Jackson involving Kenny Britt, though Jackson hasn’t had the guts to completely shut down Britt as Pettine did Bowe. Britt’s counter-productivity on the field is beyond dispute. But his destructiveness off the field has been no less damaging. Britt has influenced young Corey Coleman, and the two of them were sent home early from Houston and fined for blowing curfew the night before the Texans’ game. Britt also was among the teammates with Kizer after hours on Saturday morning before the Titans game. Further, Britt has been the ringleader of a group of receivers who occasionally interrupt interviews in the locker room with loud, obnoxious behavior. Even a few mature rookies have implored Britt and his acolytes to keep it down in the locker room. The fact that Jackson can yank Kizer out of games but not do the same to Britt is sad. Sadder yet is the fact that Brown seems oblivious to what he has wrought.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Mike Leach! Bring in Mike Leach to straighten this circle jerk out! I know you are a troll, but bringing in a gimmick system college coach with limited success will help us how?

The D.Bowe and K.Britt similarities are frightening.
Both vets that were brought in to lend some leadership and skill to the young WR corps
Both overpaid
Both came simply for a paycheck
Both had 0 focus, or 0 care for the team or teammates
Both seem to be in a situation where the FO refused to admit they were wrong for bringing them in
Both seem to not be wanted by the coaching staff.
This to me, needs to be addressed. If I was Jimmy/Dee I would pull Hue and Sashi in a room, and say listen. "Hue, you are the football mind we have here - Sashi - You and your crew are here to evaluate talent and bring/draft players to this organization to make us better and help us win. neither one of you are doing that in this situation. I see it, the fans see it, the media sees it, the other players see it. Fix it now, or I will find someone who will. please close the door on your way out."

I've never seen a more blatant injury faking performance on the field by a professional in any instance other than wanting to stop the clock. Awful. Why he wasn't fired immediately after the game is a travesty. The FO needs to do the right thing, admit their mistake, and get rid of the looser tool.

Whoever is holding up on cutting Britt deserves to be fired with him. His is awful, gives no effort, and acted hurt after every play he failed to make. He is an example of exactly what you don't want in a pro player.

I agree, I think this is my biggest criticism of the FO, they have that "Harvard elite-ness" to them, and refuse to admit they were wrong.

Grossi...tough to tell if he has embellished on the truth or not. Sounds like a good story but how much is true about the "WEDGE".
But I hope if the facts about this is true, regarding the locker room and the influence on Coleman and Kizer. I hope we cut his butt!
I prefer the kid Williams over Britt anyways. Seems to get that ball no matter what.
Just say no to Britt and cut his ass!
jmho

Looks like further evidence Hue's hands are too loose on the reins. Britt needs a firm hand it seems. Apparently we have too many "teachers" and no principal.

I'm with you. It may be my orange-tinted glasses, but I don't think so. Articles that are made up of nothing but wild conjecture (writer didn't even bother with "sources" on this one) annoy me. I'm not being stubborn or close-minded when I call the article garbage.... just reveal something real to back up what you're saying.
GM was texting the sidelines to play his guy? Ok... yeah, you're probably right... this FO got issues.
The Britt and Coleman getting sent home thing was bad... but they also said that injured players were not held to curfew previously. Kizer was out at a bar Friday night, but still made his meetings and practice the next day? ...ok... not great but also not the end of the world.
Criticize for staying up late, criticize for hilariously bad production on the field... but don't try to turn it into something it's not.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
