Looks like Pryor is wishing he took our deal. Maybe we better be happy he didn't. peen...not sure what you are basing your comment on??
Pryor ranks 2nd in WR receptions, just one reception behind their leading WR..
Pryor ranks 1st in WR yardage..
Pryor ranks 2nd in yds per catch among WRs..
The Redskins pass offense spreads the ball around with several good pass catchers to support their QB. mac: I believe you may wish to revisit your stats and repost them... I think he's talking about on just the Redskins. WE HAVE A WINNER!!!
You have to read the entire post..including the last line!

Actually mac's stats are right, he was talking about just the Redskins WRs, not the TEs or RBs, just the WRs.

Diam...looking at this list, I couldn't help but notice that the Browns had 3 individuals listed above..with Kenny Britt leading the way for us.
Decided to look up how each team was doing in the "dropped passes" department...

Interesting how there isn't one of the Browns players with the most dropped passes. I see Britt, Devalve, and Louis with 2 each... but I recall people saying we had 8-9 in one game...

One thing your stats don't show mac is that the whole Redskins WR group is only on pace to catch 120 some passes this year compared to well over 200 last year. Why the huge drop in production?

j/c: I didn't know where else to put this and didn't think it was necessary to start another thread. But it does relate to the FO more than anything else. This is an interesing topic/video pertaining to the 2018 offseason-- a good amount of QBs might be hitting the market, and coupled with the amount of good QBs expected to get drafted, it could make for an interesting beginning to the 2018 football calendar. A good take by Schefter, IMO. http://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=21166014

He's almost always hurt and it's just proven knee issues. Proven, time for him to retire IMO. But yeah, Cousins tagged twice. Bress unable to be tagged. A lot of people are saying Darnold and Allen aren't worhty, but a lot of people are... IDK, interesting to see what happens in terms with us relating to these needed QBs. Whatever GM brings us a QB will, forever, be a Legend.

Like it or not, Kenny Britt is the face of the franchise...Browns’ Kenny Britt hates playing in London Posted by Michael David Smith October 26, 2017, 12:11 PM EDT link The Browns are playing in London on Sunday, and receiver Kenny Britt isn’t happy about it. Britt, who played in London with the Rams last year, didn’t enjoy that experience and isn’t looking forward to this week’s trip either. “I hated London, hated it,” Britt said, via ESPN. “I hated it with a passion.” Britt said there was “nothing” positive about the experience of playing overseas. “I hated everything about it,” Britt said. “I hated the flight. I hated us being there so long. I hated the flight back. I hated the food. You can ask my wife the same thing, and she’ll give you the same answer.” Plenty of NFL players have expressed the opinion that they don’t like the long trips and unfamiliar surroundings that come with a London game. But with the NFL seeming to have reached peak popularity in the United States, the owners are committed to making London the next market where the sport can grow. Players are going to keep playing in London, whether they like it or not.

I don't understand why this guy keeps talking to reporters. If I was doing as poorly as I was at my job as he is now, I'd be keeping my head so low I'd be a freakin' ghost.
I would've never thought that "not being a *butt*" was something someone had to work at.

Oh really? And Joe Thomas is not? Laughable, mac. Let's put the stats out there and let the chips fall where they may: Pryor 33 targets, 18 rec (54.5%), 223 yds, 12.4 ave, yac 55, 13 1st downs Louis 39 targets, 21 rec (53.88%), 250 yds, 11.9 ave, yac 55, 13 1st downs And for fun, let's throw in... Britt 27 targets, 10 rec (37.0%), 128 yds, 12.8 ave, 5 1st downs

Why the huge drop in production? 66...the skins are rushing the ball more this season and passing more to the TEs and RB, would be my guess.
Also, Vernon Davis is listed as a TE but is also used as a wr and has been very productive this season. I'm not sure if his stats for 2016 were listed as wr or TE..that might explain the numbers difference.
It looks like Gruden has tweeked his game plan this season..running the ball more and utilizing his TEs more than he did in 2016.
We are only 6 games in so the present numbers are only a snap shot.

Reed and Davis combined for over 100 receptions and close to 1300 yards in 2016. Reed, specifically, was top ten in most TE recieving categories (and that's missing 4 games). And rushing yards were about 1500 yards.
The "game plan" hasn't changed.

It's a shame Ricardo Louis is having a nasty case of the drops, he's certainly looked improved this season.
He's getting open more, his routes are much more crisp, and he appears to know what he's doing. I fell for Louis a little on the Kevin Hogan pick six against Houston because Louis SPRINTED down the field in pursuit. He had no chance of getting there, but it didn't stop him trying, and I admire that.
Through only seven games, his catch percentage is up, his yards are up and so are his first down receptions. Unfortunately, he's had a good 6-8 drops that have spoiled a nice start to year two that could have earned him more playing time.
It's those damn body catches. Can't fall in to that habit. I really hope he can put it all together. He's such a talented kid. Big, strong and lightning fast. He reminds me Quincy Enunwa for the Jets, who is unfortunately struggling with injuries but looks like a rising star when he gets on the field.
I hope he can put it all together as the season progresses.

Britt 27 targets, 10 rec (37.0%), 128 yds, 12.8 ave, 5 1st downs I think what needs to be part of this discussion is the recent emergence of Josh Doctson who missed all last season with an injury. He seems like he is becoming a important recieving option for Cousins and is generating stats starting Week 3. We'll see if he trends upwards or not.

Not entirely sure exactly what the rift is (though I certainly can guess), but Jackson needs to have his own way as to who sees the field and who sits. Sashi can keep him on the 53 man roster, but Jackson doesn't have to play him...

He's not looking good. I was one who wished we had signed him to stay here, but at this point I don't see anything that seem to make that thought process to be the correct one. Of course I'm not the one getting paid a seven figure salary that thought Britt would be an upgrade either. So there's that. lol
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

If shashi is will not admit he made a mistake - and is running an iron fist and making britt be played and still on the team, shashi. The new York Yankees just fired joe giradi for beating the favored Indians but still falling short of the WS. And our world class organization is pulling crap like this.

If shashi is will not admit he made a mistake - and is running an iron fist and making britt be played and still on the team, shashi. The new York Yankees just fired joe giradi for beating the favored Indians but still falling short of the WS. And our world class organization is pulling crap like this. There is absolutely no basis that says Sashi is forcing Hue to play Britt. Look at what Mike Tomlin is doing in Pitt. He doesnt have 53 man control, but he is telling Bryant to go kick rocks. The FO has plenty of blame to take on signing Britt. But Hue is the one who keeps him active and starting.
you had a good run Hank.

He's not looking good. I was one who wished we had signed him to stay here, but at this point I don't see anything that seem to make that thought process to be the correct one. Of course I'm not the one getting paid a seven figure salary that thought Britt would be an upgrade either. So there's that. lol Pit, I think Pryor's numbers speak more to just how pathetic our receivers are than they do about Pryor. In Washington, he is just another guy. Nothing special. In Cleveland, he was the best receiver by a wide margin. Our talent level at WR and QB sucks. But people still wanna blame Hue for our problems.
