That was a beatdown yesterday. The cat crossing the field (Romo was hilarious) and the Flacco hit were the highlights for me.

Super slow mo it was a cheap shot...real time a little less cheap. regardless he's going to get a big time fine. If it was our QB there wouldn't have been a flag thrown...lol

Kiko just destroyed Flacco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad I didn't turn this off. Well worth the penalty. You liked that hit? It was a cheap shot. It certainly was. Even in real time. He did nothing to even attempt to pull up. I actually think he should get a minimum one game suspension. I mean what more could one do to deserve a suspension? If defenders know they can knock the opposing teams QB out for the trade of a 15 yard penalty, why wouldn't they do it? If the league has any intention of stopping these kinds of hits or wishes to convince the public they actually care about head injuries, a fine that really has no major impact on a player and a 15 yard penalty simply won't cut it.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Oh there's no doubt it was a cheap shot, but I hate the Ravens and have seen many dirty blows on us through the years via that team, it's pleasing (in a: my team sucks, seeing them get hurt is my only, perhaps morbid, excitement for football) to see them get one. Especially to Flacco/key piece to that team.

Right. There are new rules that would toss Alonzo if he got a 2nd unsportsmanlike penalty, but most teams would trade one penalty if the QB was knocked out of the game on a hit like that. I don't like the targeting rule in college, but maybe the NFL needs something more like that for situations like this. Kiko should have been tossed.

The refs should get one game as well for not calling it flagrant.

Yes, it was flagrant. There was no way he was going to avoid contact, he already had his momentum going when Flacco started to slide.. but instead of trying to minimize the impact, he dropped the shoulder and went all in....
but the shot of Flacco starting to sit up with his eyes glazed over and his finger in the air like he was a drunk guy asking the bartender for his check was pretty funny.

Wasn't Alonso the guy who hit Hoyer and injured him while Hoyer was sliding in the Buffalo game a few years ago? I didn't see the play last night but I remember thinking that hit on Hoyer was dirty.

If one was dirty, so was the other. They were the exact same play. The only difference is that Hoyer slid really funny, and the hit ended up tearing something in his knee (it was a super awkward slide).
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

From FOX Sports / Shannon Sharpe and Skip Clueless today: Oct 27, 2017 at 1:44p ET Because of Kiko Alonso's history of dirty plays, Shannon Sharpe explains to Skip Bayless that Alonso should be suspended for multiple games for his illegal hit on Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco.
Transcript:
JOY TAYLOR: Shannon, should Alonso be suspended for that game?
SHANNON SHARPE: Hell, yes, and for multiple games. Danny Trevathan got two games with no history of being late. Now, he appealed that-- of being dirty. He appealed that, got it reduced to one.
Kiko Alonso got a history of this. He hit Brian Hoyer the exact same way on a quarterback slide. Not only did he knock him out of the game, he knocked him out of the season.
SKIP BAYLESS: Hm, well, I don't think he's ever been fined or suspended.
SHANNON SHARPE: Doesn't matter. Has he done something like this before? If the quarterback is giving himself up, you better treat it like before the game. When those planes fly over, you better do a fly-over. Not only did he hit him late, he hit him in his head, Skip! That's the whole purpose.
He-- once he goes into that slide, hit him in his body, I can see, but you hit him in his neck and shoulder. You hit him in his head. Let me ask you a question. They hit Tom Brady, what's going happen like that?
SKIP BAYLESS: When would Tom Brady ever try that?
SHANNON SHARPE: Oh, so--
SKIP BAYLESS: Never ever.
SHANNON SHARPE: So Tom Brady has never slid? Never given himself up?
SKIP BAYLESS: He's not going to try for a first down. He might try for the goal line.
SHANNON SHARPE: Skip, Skip, you being so disingenuous right now. You make it seem like Tom Brady is God. Tom Brady has ran for first downs. Tom Brady has slid and given himself up.
SKIP BAYLESS: Well, he is God. We know that, but go ahead.
SHANNON SHARPE: But anyway, he's going to be suspended multiple games. You can't hit the quarterback in the head. You can't hit him once he gives himself up. I would be shocked if he doesn't get three games, he appeals it, and comes down--
SKIP BAYLESS: Three games?
SHANNON SHARPE: Three games, he appeals it, comes down to two. He has a history of this. Go pull the tape in which he hit Brian Hoyer the exact same way. http://www.foxsports.com/watch/undisputed/video/1082811971770

Did we all forget about this? I know I did until I saw the article: 'Catch me if you can! Stray cat steals spotlight after running onto the field during Ravens' 40-0 blowout win over Dolphins'http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5024415/Stray-cat-steals-spotlight-Ravens-blowout-win.html There's a first time for everything, and that's the first time I ever saw a cat runnin' around on a football field during a game. It was great. If you watch the video, that cat had better cuts than Crowell!

It's not easy to tackle a cat when it's on the move. If they're laying on a chair you can wrap and bring them down, but they can make you miss when running with purpose. They're quick as cats. I liked how he got four paws in bounds, made a quick cut and went for extra yardage.
Romo was funny there.

It was a dirty hit. I don't think there was anything "funny" or "cool" about it.
I hate the Ravens, but we're talking about human beings. Dirty football is not cool.

I don't like the bengals but that was a crap personal foul at the end of the first half... They called that driving qb into the ground call.. The one on us I can see.. Though didn't agree... This one I didn't think was close... Don't like how much they coddle the qb

Buffalo looks legit. Watson looks legit. Wentz looks legit. It looks like Buffalo hired a very legit coach. He seems to have every moving in the right direction and doesn't take crap from anyone. (We interviewed him the same time we hired Hue Jackson.) Watson, who I didn't want before the draft, looks very legit. Thinking about him being on our team makes me sad. Wentz might be the league MVP.

--Buffalo is playing so much better than I expected. It's pretty amazing.
--The Jets are surprising me, too.
--Philly's D is legit.
--C. Thompson for Washington is a play-maker. They need to get him the ball as much as possible.
--Will Fuller is playing so much better than I ever thought he would.
