It's basic football. You let the clock run down THEN take the TO and calm your team.
Holy crap. It was only 2nd down when he called the time out. If we missed on 3rd down, we'd have plenty of time to reset for a 4th down play. Alas, we didn't miss on 3rd down. And, again, Case Keenum had only 40 seconds to march the field. That being "too much" just doesn't bode well for me.
