4-0 Tribe. Nixon with a bases loaded double and then Ben Fran and Sizemore added an RBI each.

CC has been HORRIBLE since the All Star break. He better turn it around. 4-3

That is pretty worrisome. I keep waiting for him to get it together, was hoping it was going to be today once they spotted him 4. Everything is going the Tigers way lately, we need to win every game C.C. starts with the way Lee and Westbrook are going.

Combined with the way the Yankees have turned it around, too, we might be sitting home come playoff time.

Boy that's the truth. CC and Carmona are about the only 2 who have been consistent winners, and CC has struggled lately.

Now, that being said, he hasn't pitched terribly tonight. But, he certainly isn't as dominant as he was earlier in the season.

The Tribe needs to get things straight. They can't count on scoring a ton of runs every game to win. You face good pitching and you're done.

Should have been a DP but the second basemen pulled his foot off the bag before he caught the flip.

Actually, I believe it was the SS. I think it was the 2nd baseman who made the flip.

Gotcha. I wondered how on Gameday it looked like it was a DP but it only recorded one out. Thanks.

Man, CC just doesn't have it..

I wonder if Leyland gave him some sorda drug that makes you not pitch good at the All-Star break.

Hey, he battled with the guy and got him out. If I'm Wedge, I take out CC and let Perez and/or Betancourt take us to Borowski.

Looked like that guy jumped on that poor kid for that ball and ripped it away. I hope he gave it back.

Man, this MLB Gameday online is something else. You can watch highlights (Grady's HR, Barfield's great play, Francisco's shoestring catch)

lol I like to be able to click around online and still have the game going. If I have it on the TV, I pay attention to one or the other.

mlb.tv is the online video of the games

The only problem is you get the home team broadcasts only.

Yes it is, but it isn't free for me
Well, actually it isn't free, I just owe someone some brews. It allows you to have two log ins at a time so I'm using the second log in.

I know Betancourt has done well this season, but I'm wondering why Wedge took out Perez. The kid pitched really well in that inning, so why not leave him in, and then bring in Borowski in the 9th. That way, you save Betancourt, and maybe he can throw a couple innings tomorrow.
