just clicking, Sosa is definately much skinnier than he used to be....it is beyond obvious.....Huge difference. And what the heck is up with Barfield? He is in a huge and I mean Huge slump. He hit much better for the Padres. I'm wondering what is causing this huge drop in his offense? I'm tempted to put in Rouse but he's even worse at the plate.

Well, there's more to baseball than hitting, though. Barfield is a pretty solid 2B, so it might be worth the tradeoff.

JOE? With all due respect, you can't be serious if you're pinning this near blown save on Borowski. That was ALL fielding errors. The Rangers had 6 outs in that inning. Not four, not five, but six.

Could someone please tell my why in the hell Mike Rouse,or Louse is what I like to call him,is wasting a roster space on this team??? We have a guy in AAA with more major league experience in Luis Rivas that can certainly do a much better job than Louse has done.
And yes,don't blame Borowski for what happened last night,blame Garko,Blake,and of course Louse.At least we won...barely.

Rivas is hitting .251 at AAA and has 17 errors this season. For that matter, Luna is hitting .256 and has 20 errrors. Rouse is here for his glove. He has 3 errors in 41 games, which isn't great, but is better than what either one of the other two would be doing.

No, Rouse made the team because Luna and Rivas were/are horrible in the field and Inglett can't play SS, which is the #1 need of the utility guy for the Indians. Inglett getting injured knocked him out of the competition sooner than he otherwise would have, but he wasn't going to win the job anyhow.

Ugh, I can't access MLB.tv or the radio . It keeps saying I don't have access to this area (never even reaching the sign in page). But this new Gameday is pretty cool.

Travis hafner keep taking pitches that are very hitable.
He is being more selective than he was last year at the plate.
