Lue is an ineffective coach. He absolutely blows at making guys better. No reason guys like Osman not playing

Browns: Well, they're the Browns.

Indians: Favorites to win the World Series. Up 2-0 in the divisional series. Lose divisional series.

Cavs: Trade their second best player because he wanted to be traded. Currently, losing to all the dregs in the league. LeBron looks uninterested.

And all is right in the Cleveland sports scene.

Lue needs to be fired, this team looks nothing like an nba team. He has no idea how to fix anything

So far we’ve lost to the 14th and and 16th ranked team in the east last year and getting stomped by number 13.

Lebron has checked out of this season and team, oh well. Blow it up and build something sustainable

It really looks that way.

I don't think that's the case. I mean the guy is prideful. But he just doesn't seem all there.

Looks like we left our hearts after that Boston game because this team looks like utter crap.

We're old, lost, slow and confused. About all I can say. Turned that game off before halftime.

Since LeBron came back, every year they start slow and everybody panics... every year after Thanksgiving they start to get it figured out and they are ok...

If LeBron appears disinterested, it's because it's October, not because he has given up.

What we're currently witnessing is something else.

we've never started out slow...not sure why people think that,

right now we have lost 4 games..

Last year, we didn't lose our first game until our 17th game Dec 1st 13-4
2016- 14th game on Nov. 25 11-4
2015-9th game on Nov 17th 5-4

even going further the first half of the year say Jan 1st as a barometer

Last year- 7 losses
2016- 9 losses
2015-14 losses

so yeah, this isn't just them starting slow, they are fundamentally flawed right now, despite having more "talent"

Indeed on the slow starts. Let's hope it's that old thing combined with many, MANY new faces on the team.

Korver has paid off this season already. Need a lot of others to step up and play some freaking defense for a full game. Let US grab the lead and run with it. Let us be dominate.

Unfortunately Korver gets too many minutes. It's one of the top 5 things wrong with the team.

I like Korver. What's not to like. True professional who can absolutely shoot the lights out. He's one of those rare shooters that you are more surprised when they miss than when they make it.

But Korver requires a complete abandonment of any semblance of an offense to get him open and he's a huge liability on D. He's playing way too many minutes because of those two things.

That is truth, I cannot even argue you there. I'm not sure who'd we play with our roster. I like the thought of Rose playing and settling in now he's back, but he gets hurt so much.

I didn't think I would pray for Isaiah Thomas to come back as much as I do right now.

yeah just about everyone except Lue sees it, we have guys like Osman/Holland that could provide some youth and defense. We are just so old, JR fell off a cliff, Shump actually got worse so did TT, thats alot going against you. Then you have a clueless coach who says they all suck because they are intimidated playing with lebron.. notallthere

On offense it boils down to not having a consistent #2 and 3 option and on defense, just lack of want to and old legs. These guys are too old to play defense for 82 games, and they are showing that.

I've got one word for you.

Altman.

He made our biggest competitor better while weakening the Cavs.

And everyone congratulated him.

The Celtics are scary good now. Without Hayward. And like every player on that team is 19-23 years old.

yeah we had KI for a few more years, hindsight we should have held out for one of the young guys or just told KI to suck it up. We are the oldest team in the NBA and teams are just destroying us with youth and athleticism

The other mistake Altman made was not flipping the pick immediately.

For what?

All the more reason the trade shouldn't have been made in the first place if there was nothing lined up for the pick.

So what would have happened to Kyrie's trade value once he started pouting and complaining about not having been dealt?

It'd tough, but we had to start the process of moving on without Kyris so we can evaluate things as we go along this season.

Man,we're not even 10 games into the season. crazy

You don't allow your franchise to be held captive by a player you have under contract.

The Irving trade was a major blunder on so many levels.

So what would you have done in that position?

You know that a player,m especially an NBA player, who goes public with trade demands, is not going to try to fit back into the team chemistry. What would you have done?

I would have held onto him.

Made him report to camp.

I certainly wouldn't have honored his request to the tune of making our biggest competitor better while making the Cavs worse.

Major. Blunder.

There's no way around it.

With potentially only one more year remaining with Lebron, there's no reason to play hardball with Kyrie and force him to destroy the team from within. He'd either not play (hurts us), play with little effort (hurts us), play well but be a jerk to everyone (hurts us) or be a model teammate (helps us). For a guy that demands a trade through the media, which of those is least likely?

Flipping the pick for Cousins wasn't going to happen, no matter how much I or anyone wanted it. New Orleans was committed to seeing this experiment through until the trade deadline. Other than the Phoenix trade, which was worse than the Boston one, there wasn't much out there.

It sucks Thomas is hurt but Boston is hobbled too. If we're at full strength, we roll them in the playoffs. Heck, we may not even see them if the Wiz or Raptors beat them.

It's a long season and we've just started the month of November. If we get to the Finals, that's in June....JUNE. I don't like quoting Aaron Rodgers but "R-E-L-A-X...relax".
