His father was Jamaican (hence the slightly darker complexion and the black hair).. his mother was white, British... but as long as he looks middle eastern, just go with it.

I don't know why this thread surprises me. The fact is, in America today the odds are far more likely you'll get shot in a terrorist act by a white man than a Muslim. That's just a fact. Why? Because there are a lot more white men in our nation than Muslim men. I would love to see someone come out with statistics that gives us the ratio of how many per 10,000 that breaks down to. But I'd be willing to bet the ratio is as high or higher for Muslims as it is white men.

But why do some feel the need to go off the deep end about that? I haven't seen anyone say that means white men are evil. But the fact is,if you get killed in a mass shooting, it will more than likely be a white male doing the shooting. That's simply because the vast majority of men in America are white men.

But you see it all the time here. People reaching to some far fetched conclusion to disregard even statistical facts. People calling it a terrorist act if a Muslim does it, yet making excuses why the exact same act isn't a terrorist act if a white man does it. Attacking and labeling anyone who points out that most mass shootings in America are committed by white males.

I think the entire situation, in our people, in our politics and in our thinking, that anyone who points out obvious facts are somehow your enemy. Just because you don't like people stating obvious facts doesn't mean you have to slam them, even when they're right.
