Hunt ... *LOL* .. the guy that barely played half their snaps last week .... and his carries and usage has gone down weekly over the last month ... that Hunt? ..
*LOL* ...
And Hill can do things they can’t .. they have the most electric player in all of football and Reid has turned him into a spectator ...
Reid did the same to Kelce his first three years in the league ...
Way OVERRATED ...
The fact u love him ... makes me even more confident that hes over rated ..
Bye bye

Tyreek Hill already has more receiving yards this season (through nine games) than he did all of last season. Kareem Hunt, who has tailed off a little bit, still leads the league in yards from scrimmage. Travis Kelce has 629 receiving yards and lines up all over the field. The Chiefs run a ton of innovative things that hardly anyone else in the NFL runs to take advantage of Alex Smith's strengths. I realize that DiamDawg is going to disregard this post and that is fine. He will post some sort of snarky comment about me and then dismiss me. That is also fine.

It is amazing how Hill has changed the offense.
Smith worked with the players he had, the WR corps was not very good and he did not do much, but I doubt that Hill is coming with him.
He is not a premier QB, a good one yes. And far better than anything this team has seen.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!

Also giving him a lot of run options and run-pass options have been excellent. I just so don't understand Hue or our system. I hope that their vanilla playbook is just because they couldn't install the entire thing while shifting between starting QBs in the summer. I hate to be presumptuous, but I believe that the Browns have players with similar skill sets to the Eagles and Chiefs, but we never try to get mismatches for them. NJoku is a freak. Duke Johnson is our best WR. We should be running similar plays to the Eagles and Chiefs. It's the only way to win in the NFL these days. You have to adapt the spread option to your playbook. Kizer would be a perfect player to groom for that spread option role. He's fast enough to make the defense hesitate, he's big enough to take the hits (God forbid), and he still has the deep ball to challenge the safeties.

What Vet ( worth having ) is going to sign his professional Death Warrant ( the Browns ) ?? I don't think most any vet in the back-up stage of their career really cares where they play. Being a vet back-up QB isn't a bad gig.

I knew a poster or two would try to turn an Alex Smith thread into another let's complain about Hue thread.

With NO vertical threat on field it is easy to fault Hue- Coleman should/could help....GO Browns!!! Alex is smart, dedicated, and a winner- don't know if I'd want him here at his stage.

Week after week I see open WRs deep. Kizer has not hit ONE OF THEM...not a ONE!
Kessler hit two (in one half) Hogan hit on one for a DeValve was wide wide open.
Kizer I can remember at LEAST SIX (6) deep open WRs and he has missed on all six and to fit this category he would also not have any Duress...this is why I don't believe in Kizer.

And that's the big question. Not only for Smith but for Cousins as well.
While it may be hard to see for some fans, if you were in their shoes and had much better options, would you choose the Browns? In sports as in real life, there are people who take the safe way. Others, however, love a challenge and have the ego to become a "hero" by taking the underdog to the top. Personally, I much prefer the latter... I understand what you're saying, but I just don't think it's that simple. These guys are pros. They have agents and attroney's that represent them. That look out for their best interests. They have a future and a career to consider. While I agree with the poster that said Hue was well respected by players, there are a lot more ingredients than that to consider. Do the agents around the league respect Sashi and this FO? Do they feel the Browns are the best opportunity and structure for the players they represent? You see, this will not be their only contract. There will be more. The best way to take care of your family and your future in the league is to take the best opportunity you can find that will help build your resume' for the future. Making your decision based on ego and wanting to be a hero doesn't show the kind of smarts you need to be an NFL franchise QB.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

The problem the Browns have is finding Good Qbs that actually want to come here . Its not always about how much you can pay a guy . Players look at FOs and coaches as well . Right now Browns track record with QBs and how they treat them are not good . the FO needs a facelift and needs to make some major changes or nothing will ever change .
