Seriously, with JT we MAYBE have a better shot to win this game

Kizer was pretty bad today ... high and inaccurate

Crow sucks

Ogbah hurt for the year

Our WRs are trash

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

We stood toe to toe with one of the better teams in the league in a game we could have won. I think that stands for something.

That's what needs to be addressed aggressively in the next draft. We are seriously devoid of playmakers and it shows every week. DK would be better with a better supporting cast.

I have seen enough this season to summarize as follows:
Hugh Jackson and the front office must go
There needs to be a professional football specialist in charge of all football moves
We still need a competent starting quarterback, another quality running back and
Two professional wide receivers that can get separation
Special teams has been anything but special all season

The bad: As a fan who wants this team to succeed, we have six more of these to go. I think we are for sure going 0-16.

The good: There's a ton of money to be made on the Browns not covering the spread and the under in Browns games. It's nice to keep that gravy train going. The Jaguars even got a dirty cover today. The Browns do not let you down.

I have noticed when watching other NFL teams that it is allowable, even desirable, on 3rd down to throw the pass beyond the 1st down marker. I don't know if anyone has hipped the Browns to this radical, new approach.

Has Kizer ever tried the throwing a football through a tire hanging from a tree drill. I recommend he do so, it might help.

Burgess and Kirksey were good today. So was Duke. Corey Coleman had a decent game, too.

Its Sunday night, its snowing, I have an #$@%&! 8:30 staff meeting tomorrow that will go on and on and on.

On the other hand, its a short week. Happy Thanksgiving, guys and gals.

I just saw Osweiller try the same thing. I’m sure he learned it here. He threw it 4 yards on 3 and 12 or whatever the distance was. It didn’t work for them either.

I didn't get to watch the game. Kids decided to come over and get some of the outside lights up. My God it was cold out. Anyways we got about 1/3 of them up. That's about 1200 lights. Next Sunday the rest that we will put up will go up.

Anyways got back in just in time to see us fumble into the inzone to go down 19-7 with about a minute to go. Then the announcers said that was 16 points of turnovers.

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

The defensive effort deserved better today. We'd be scary with two half competent CBs.

This offense is entirely impotent. If a pass isn't dropped it's three feet behind or low of the receiver.
Kizer can't feel pressure from the blind side and continues to hold the ball too long. Granted today his time was limited. The line smelled.
Duke lays it out week in and week out. Matt Dayes needs time in the last six games. Gordon, Coleman and a WR with one of our first two picks
should really help.

FO had better be on this draft or this franchise is toast. (If they get the chance to draft)

Still not sure whether they'll be dismissals or resignations. Neither would surprise me. If nothing changes I just wonder how long it goes on and how long is acceptable before "We planned on losing" or "We are very young" sours on fans stomachs.

We hung today. A bit encouraging but also VERY discouraging as we can't put a complete game together.

It's wearying to be a Browns fan and I find myself barely hanging on to any excitement for this team.

- Another week. Another loss.

- Kizer had a horrible performance. Four turnovers. Almost five.

- How is Ricardo Louis making money as a professional football player? He's awful.

- Corey Coleman played well.

- Jamar Taylor is bad. Gets picked on on a weekly basis.

- The defense as a whole played well enough to give the team a chance.

- Haslams tried to give team a quasi pep talk, made sure the players knew "it's a process."

- It's really the same story every week and the end result is the same. This is a really bad football team.

- As to be expected, the crowd at the stadium was sparse.

6 more of these things to go.

The D played well. The O started out immediately shooting itself in the foot. Kizer didn't have a great day, but did have an okay day (for a shaky rookie) except for the INT. The drive with Duke's TD was impressive. Too bad they couldn't do it more than once. (We have to draft a QB high, IMHO.) The game was interesting for 3.75 quarters, which is an improvement, but with four minutes to go, and the chance to drive and score for the win, you knew they'd been granted one opportunity too many and would somehow fall short. The strip-six was icing on the cake. Hue actually managed the clock fairly well today. Getting Coleman back was good. Garrett was everywhere. Taylor sucks. McCourty is a definite asset. Losing Ogbah sucks. The penalties were (very) few. The drops continue. In some ways I saw improvement, in other ways it was SSDD. They didn't shut us out and they didn't hang 40 on us. We hung with a good team, played them well, and came up short because we're talent deficient on offense. This is the year to fix that.

We Need to kill the draft and FA in 2018 ...We have 12 Picks again 5 inside the first 40 Picks including the 1st Pick and another inside the top 10 and we also have a projected $130 Million to spend in Free Agency, IF they do the right things they could turn this team into a winner within 1-2 years it has been done .. IF?

See, aside from the touchdown catch - which any nfl back would make - I didn't think Duke did anything special at all today.

perhaps that's because he got about six touches?

Could be. Why is that?

I also have him (my OWN opinion) with 2 drops. Sure, 1 pass was low. But you play in the nfl - I watch other backs make that catch all the time.

So, give him a drop and a half.

Hell, was it Dayes, at the end of the game that made a catch from a low pass? I think it was him.

Sorry, I just didn't see much from Crowell OR Johnson today. Other than that wide open catch for a td, that anyone makes (okay, anyone from any OTHER team) on a routine basis - what did johnson do?

What did Crow do?

I just have this image in my mind of a Monster Truck tire!

It would take a sturdy branch to support it.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

They need to draft Barclay from Penn State. Let Crow fly. I believe Duke would get yards when Crow can't, but Duke always looks like he gets hurt.

We need a good corner to go with McCourty. We also need a safety.

Kizer was harrassed today, as I expected. He is growing, but besides Coleman, there is not a decent WR on this team.

Defense gets too much praise IMO.

This team will win soon.

Our secondary is not very good. Yet Gregg williams makes it work. We are in the top 10 for defense, and of course he will be gone after this season.....typical browns

Who's Pete Smith?

I'm sure every team has players that don't like the coach. I'm sure Treggs and Kasen Williams think Hues a dope because they keep starting Louis. And both are clearly better. I'm sure there's tons of stuff like that going on with every team.

As long as we keep Williams on as D coordinator or promote him to HC to retain him. I don’t blame Hue for all our O’s woes. He has trash talent on that side of the ball. But if he goes I can accept it. Just retain Williams somehow.

Look, there's no one on this football team who should be throwing Hue Jackson under the bus. These players are 0-10 and need to look in the mirror.

jeesus h, this is my third edit.....

Huh? No it wasn't. Notice in the quote above, it actually says your name - since I'm actually quoting you. Your name wasn't listed in his quote at all - because he wasn't quoting you. He used the

I can quote anything I want without it being directed to you even though I'm replying to your post. Like this -

See?

He could have put a j/c at the beginning since the top of his post is in RESPONSE to your post I guess, but it's not that hard to understand how quotes work.

Kizer played horribly. He's a rookie, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He's talented as heck, but I'm not so sure he's going to be good.

I counted only one true drop (my count), right in Louis' chest. A lot of the other "drops" were simply bad passes.

I will say having Thomas out was quite noticeable and hurt this game. Drango's worst game thus far. And the jags I feel are the best defense we've faced and we went toe to toe with them.

Turnovers have killed us. Bad quarterbacking has killed us. Same thing every week.

Hue won in Cincinnati as OC when he had some talent. He doesn't have the talent here at the skill positions. I doubt any HC could win here with this O talent. You can't make filet mignon out of hamburg.

My thoughts on the game:

--The defensive game plan was very good. We gave up a bit to the TE's and Fournette had over 100 yards, but I liked the plan.

--The defense played their butts off in this game. Jax is limited on O, but our defense fought really hard all game long despite being put in terrible situations.

--Shelton was a monster in the middle.

--Sucks losing Ogbah. He is one of the few guys I like.

--Peppers sucked again. He did make one good play, which is one more than he has made all season, but the dude is not playing well.

--Kirksey had a good game.

--The angles that Peppers and Taylor took on the long run by Fournette were perplexing.

--Very good play design on O today. We had open guys.

--We missed Joe T. today.

--I think we lost the game for one reason. Kizer sucked ass! Dude was clueless. Held the ball too long. Too many inaccurate throws. Terrible pocket presence.

--Another factor was we had more drops by our receivers today.

--This game was there for the taking, but the ineptness of Kizer and the receivers blew it! I think this game, as many others have illustrated, is why we have to make a move to bring a real talent evaluator and get Sashi the hell out of his current position.
